2 Modders in a Row in the Burg

My host got invaded in the Burg by the worst player you can possibly imagine. We must've backstabbed him 25 to 35 times. No kidding. I also destroyed him with my Falchion over and over. He had infinite health and stamina. It was unreal how impossibly bad he was. I kept trying to point for the host to leave or to draw the modder near an edge but no luck.

Then a few minutes later I get summoned by a guy. We go down to the Black Knight and the guy takes a whooping, loses no health, then mashes R1 more than a dozen time in a row to kill it. I crystaled out, of course.

Two summons, two modders. You guys see any/many yet?

No, I've never found a hacker (modders, how you call them). I don't understand why people complain so much, because I've never fought or saw any of them. Luck I guess?

I have fought one, I have auto backup for my character, so whenever I invade or get invaded, I place my mouse over the close X, I click it at first wrong sign.

I'm not sure what that^ means.

And Chiz, whether you've faced one or not it shouldn''t be too hard to figure out why people complain. You can't kill them unless you can get them to fall. You CAN embarrass the hell out of them though, like that invader I mentioned. The occasional one doesn't bother me too much on Xbox, but two in a row on the PC has me wondering how many there are... and how many there will be.

I close the window when I face a hacker.

cally I mean I don't understand why people complain about them when it seems that there are just so few of them, because from personal experience I haven't see anyone, yet people keep complaining about how Microsoft and From *** it up because they see them, as if it were 24/7.

If it bleeds we can kill it. (Keep something to do bleed damage.)

I can confirm that bleed damage does not affect these hackers, cliffs should be kept handy instead.

I just wonder - do they use infinite HP or INCREDIBLY HUGE AMOUNT of HP (you hit them, you do damage, but they seem to have still 100% of HP bar)? For the 2nd you can use bleed. Otherwise - only cliff poking.

I've ran into several hackers. Sadly common-place.

I've only run into one, maybe two hackers. One guy just kept spamming the 'I'm sorry carving' over and over while taking no damage.

I guess it's the incredibly huge amount thing, because when they fall from a cliff and die it registers insane damage, I think.

I'm surprised how few you guys have encountered. I guess it's a good sign though. I've met 5 or 6 on Xbox and now 2 on pc. (5 or 6 may not sound like much but I've only done about 40 or 50 hours of PvP, so that's a pretty heavy %.)

I've fought one at the parish... The guy ate 10 crystal soulmass, 4 Crystal soulspears, and countless backstabs with 50 Int and using Logan's Catalyst and MLGS...

First I thought it was because of lag, but he actually sucked really bad... Finally he was just staying there without even moving, like mocking at me...
Then I got OHKO

I've met a few hackers on PC so far. Don't remember the first one, but he had what I think was karmic justice on his shield. He just stood there and blocked, I hit his shield once and took massive damage. While I was in WTF? mode he shot me with a soul spear and that was that.

The second one was last night. This guy invades me in the forest...think his name is AnotherAverageBro or some such. Starts two handing a great axe at me with the L2. I noticed when I punished him with a backstab there was no damage indicator. Luckily, he had little poise and less skill (and let me tell you guys, I'm rubbish at PvP). I bled him out at least 4 or 5 times, too many backstabs to count and got a parry in while he was spamming some dagger or other. He did give me 40k souls and an ego boost, so I guess I didn't hate that guy too much.

encounter 2 so far - both in the forest.

One was afk and I slowly pushed him from the ledge (took some time as he was far away)
The other one fough me for like 2minutes and then just disappeared (no crystal). He was using the the black knight greatsword and spammed R2....

yeah the burg....... well that's the hacker hotspot. i would like to point out that i saw a post not to long ago about someone who was invading and when he got someone he had infinite heath so it may be a really bad glitch rather than an all out hack.

I ran into one guy with infinite health while hosting in the forest. Whenever I hit him, a huge number like 64793462 appeared and his health bar didnt move, even when I backstabbed him.

That's the only one for me so far, so I'm being optimistic about this whole hacker/modder situation. I do notice that the top players in the book of the guilty have modded stats though.

I'm proud to say that I actually killed one. He was extremely lame. I spammed my Uchigatana like hell on him, made him bleed 2 times and then he accidentally rolled off a cliff Woot!

Mine I know are hackers because each time I've encountered one I've talked to them about it. Only one has ignored me.

I wonder why the Burg is the hacker hot-spot. There are falls all over the place. It's actually one of the easier areas in the game I can think of to kill an infinite health mod, because you can wait up by the fire, avoiding their ranged, and when they come to you you're half-surrounded by terminal drops. That said, I still haven't managed to kill one. Kudos to those of you who have; must be an awesome feeling.

logged in for the first time in a week just to enounter another cheater. Lured him to the cliff and backstabbed him. He rolled trying to avoid my followup and fell down.

Met another last night in Oolacile township. I was beating him, so he ran down into some mobs. I had no intention of following. I thought he was only going down to heal or something (I don't care too much about that) but when he comes back up his life bar doesn't move (I bled him out twice) but throws up ridiculous numbers for damage on hit (always 67XXX, don't remember what the rest of the numbers were). I guess he ran away to calibrate his trainer or whatever.

I asked him why he bothers playing, but he didn't respond. Then I reported his ***, but I don't know how much that does.

I always do my part, contributing to the community good - I report hackers in GFWL. I make my step. The next step is after GFWL crew.
