    I realize there are alot of these being posted, but found something important in this one that was news after reading many others.

    The important info is in the second paragraph regarding equipment burden and movement. It seems the the devs have yet to decide if they will use it, so it begs the question as to how far along they are, and how much of what we are so far seeing is going to be final

    Not sure if anyone else noticed this, because I haven't found it anywhere else...

    ~Spells now cost not only casts, but also some Stamina.

    That means we will no longer be able to spam magic when we run out of Stamina to remain on the offensive while our Stamina replenishes.

    Nice touch FROM. cheers

    There are some issue with the technical side of this fight though.

    1. There are reports of Mirror Knight summoning up to three guys from his shield. Will this also be available when the summons he makes are players?
    3 players + boss on the False King's level seem friggin' impossible.

    2. Will the summoned player have any sort of changes to their stats, or suffer some penalties?
    Old Monk raised your HP by a lot and gave you automatic yellow Soulmass spell. I hope this boss does something similar, but rather opposite, like being completely unable to heal, or use criticals etc.

    3. Mirror Knight summoned another fighter in five seconds. This is extremely fast for online summoning, even with servers.
    The summoning will probably have to implement some sort of mechanic to achieve this speed. Since Mirror Knight is supposed to be tied to the story, it's a possible Covenant boss, that will summon it's Covenant members via some item. It would be a shame to see the boss getting stuck in the summoning animation because of some lagger, or connection failure and people using this to cheese the fight.

    Five seconds is much too fast. If it's more than one person, then I guess that the boss was made to be killed quickly or else you're going to die. One of those boss types that if you don't get in and get out it will completely stack all odds against, in due time.

    Dear God, I can't even imagine Wannabe Allant with just one summon, but three? That's pretty insane, even on the Dark Souls level. It had better be an extremely late boss if that's the case.

    Mirror Knight should be False King level of boss with AoE lightning spells, shield that reflects spells and ability to summon NPCs, or other players to it's side.
    If it gets below 20% of it's HP, it will become even more aggresive and relentless.

    The animation for summoning must be swift, so you can't use it against the boss, however his shield should be destroyable, thus ending further summoning and possibly even his ability to reflect spells, thus making the fight a LOT easier.

    There is a good possibility that destroying his shield will also kill all summoned NPCs / players. Unles players will be somehow hindered when summoned by Mirror Knight, having a 4v1 stand off is extremely unlikely to get through, unles you could get rid of all the summons by destroying the shield. Just a theory anyway.

    It depends on the summons' skill for the most part.

    But a thought just came to me.
    What about NG+ and beyond? Maybe summons will get extra health like the Old Monk?

    I think it would be pretty cool at least, even though it would be near impossible.

    Good to know that the game is still going to provide a challenge, and he didn't mean that the game would be easier when he said "more accessible".

    It shouldn't really be impossible, assuming that you can summon 2 phantoms to help you, it'd turn into a 4 v 3. Where the boss is the one that everyone should be going after since if he dies, all four die. Even if it's difficult, it certainly sounds like a fun fight. big grin

    I figured out its the editor mode; click the icon on the bottom row, far right (looks like a dog-eared copy page). switches the editor so there isnt a box, just the [/quote] separators.

    I didn't read everything (too lazy) but just to let you know guys, it has been confirmed that the boss with the mirror shield in the "Go Beyond Death" trailer has the ability to summon PLAYERS to that will aid him.
