this armour setup has only a couple of defence points less than my previous one, and the high poise just helps to make sure I don't have too much trouble with stunlocking(I CANNOT toggle escape). thanks for the input

You should practice your toggle escaping in the Forest.
Get a build with 0 poise, fast roll or DWGR, and the same weapon on each spot, such as this, then every time you see your opponent attack, roll, but switch your weapon in the middle of the roll. This way if you get hit by phantom damage you'll swap to the other weapon and can continue as if you had poise tanked it.

Just swap weapons on every attack.

Interesting build.
I would recommend that you use the Canvas Talisman and the Thorolund Talisman, as they will give you the best Faith adjustment. Also, can you explain how this gets you a light roll?

thanks for feedback, and im not sure why i have lightroll in game when it says i have medium roll here.
