    Description:

    A greataxe that used to be owned by a giant well known for his stupidity. He thought that a weapon should be as heavy as possible for maximum crushing power. Indeed, its great weight makes it a powerful weapon, but the soft lead used in its construction means it degrades quickly, and isn't effective against armour.

    Required stats:

    Str: 66
    Dex: -
    Int: -
    Fai: -

    Upgraded with twinkling titanite (or equivalent). Can't be buffed.

    Damage at +5:
    400/0/0/0

    Scaling at +5:
    S/-/-/-

    Special effect: To balanced out the insane damage, its acts as if the enemies armour rating is doubled. Good against lightly armoured foes, but not ideal against heavy armour.

    (Note: I don't know how useful this would really be, just brainstorming ideas).

    I came up with this new moonlight sword a while ago and posted it in one of the older DrkSII threads. 






    A knight sitting on the stone remains of a ceiling, gazing at the moon. The other side of the room is where his sword rests. Both bathe in the moonlight.



    "You know.."
    "I've sat in this room every night gazing at the moon."
    "My hands have grow stiff and numb from the chill air."
    "I cannot even protect myself from the creatures the roam these halls anymore."
    "There, in the light behind me is my sword."
    "I've neglected it because of these hands, I cannot even look at it anymore.."
    "Take it. Warm its hilt for me. At least, with you, it will see the sun again"
     
    Will you take the blade? [YES] [NO]
     
    Answer [YES]: "I hope it serves you well."
    Answer [NO]: "That is a shame.."
     
     
    If you answer YES then you'll get a Straight sword variant. If you answer NO and come back after a few boss fights then the blade will have grown in size due to further exposure to the moonlight and you'll get the Two handed variant. If you answer NO and leave the sword alone till the moment before the final boss and go back to retrieve it; you'll get the Ultra great sword variant. When you take the sword and go back after resting at a bonfire, the knight will no longer be there.
     
     
    Moonlight Sword's Description:
    "A transparent blade, bathed under the moon. It is said that there is a way to create a bond between living beings and objects whilst meditating within moonlit circles.
     
    The lore basically meaning that because the knight and sword both sat in the moonlight, it slowly fused his soul and mind into the blade. The sword's ghostly edge is the knight's soul.

    The Lasso.

    It's a Lasso, with a special r2 that causes a trip effect to whoever it hits. Same stats as whip otherwise.

    Names: Arrojar & Aplastar

    Instead of just one weapon, I present you with two.

    Arrojar is an axe type weapon. Its strong attack makes you to throw it. It returns back to you after flying a certain time. Must be hold on left hand in order to throw. Has fast swings.

    scales B or A with dexterity.

    Aplastar is an axe type of weapon too. Instead of being able to throw it, it does heavy poise damage. Swings are medium speed. Strong attack is small AoE splash around you.

    scales B or A with strength.

    At some point you are offered a possibility to combine them into one.

    Cannot come up with a name for it right now though. It would have moderate base damage and S scaling with both strength and dexterity. And possibly some special ability.

    The buffer.

    It's a very weak weapon that's whole point is that doubles the power of weapon buffs. 

    So if you use it at max faith with darkmoonblade, you could do over 1000 magic ar.

    Of course the downside is that it only lasts as long as the buff does.

    Weapon type: Medium Shield

    Description: An ancient yet pristine golden shield, embossed with the visage of Gwynevere, Princess of Sunlight. This shield was blessed with the tears of a tempted Goddess, and, strangely, when paired with Seath's Regalia, has the power to cast miracles.


    Usability and effects: this shield is a regular yet ornate shield. If you want an accurate visual description, splice Sanctus, the Crest Shield, and the Rune Shield from Demons Souls in any way you wish. This shield is a fairly usable shield, it blocks a pve acceptable amount of physical damage, blocks very little anything else, and has moderate stability. HOWEVER! When paired with Seath's Regalia, It cannot parry, and it has no light attack in the main hand. Instead, it casts miracles to some extent. I think an acceptable extent is to have moderate magic adjust but have a respectable faith requirement to use them properly. This is to prevent minmaxery with Seath's Regalia

    Weapon type: Straight Sword

    Description: An ancient and unnerving sword, almost living in its organic aesthetic. This sword was born from an amalgam of crystal and iron, cursed with the the retching of a scaleless Dragon. Strangely, when paired with the shield Gwynevere's Guard, it has the power to cast Sorceries.


    Usability and effects: This sword deals half magic and half physical damage, and is the equivalent of a normal straight sword. It does consume a little more stamina than the average straight sword though, and when paired with Gwynevere's Guard in the other hand, its heavy attack is replaced with sorcery casting. Like I mentioned earlier, the magic adjust should be fair, but have a high requirement for intelligence to prevent an advent of minmaximus.


    Closing notes: I understand that Dark Souls 2's setting would have nothing in common with that of the predecessor, however it is my understanding that holy relics belonging to the actual Gwynevere would've left Lordran along with her anyway. These weapons were inspired by Dragons Dogma(port to pc god dammit!) mystic knight, and every other swordmage in gaming. Just to note, the weapons can only use the basic version of the spell, not the heavy OP version, and so are of limited usability to pure sorcerers or clerics. Also, a build utilizing the special properties of these weapons would not only have to put a fair amount of points into faith and intelligence but also attunement to use effectively, making this a fairly hard to obtain build. Of course, you could just two hand one of them and not bother to use the other, but what would be the point?. Please DO NOT abolish these weapons, I am only going to listen to balancing suggestions if any are given, which thankfully is not the purpose of this thread.

    Blood Moon

    Greatsword used by The Beloved Moon of the White Wulf, Moon Kastarnen. A large greatsword with a crimson colored blade and has a glowing aura to it. The aura is a moonlight color. The hilt is wrapped in a white silk ribbon that flows off the end of the hilt to show the connection to the White Wulf.

    Howling Wulf

    Shield used by Moon Kastarnen. Has a faint aura and a carving of a lone wolf on it.

    Blood Moon

    1hR1 Standard horizontal slash
    2hR1 Standard vertical slash
    1hR2 Quick forward dash followed by a powerful overhead smash
    2hR2 User concentrates for a second then charges opponent and badges with hilt of sword. If initial bash connects a series of strikes occur ending with an overhead strike to the shoulder causing a knockdown.

    Appearence: a bit longer than the washinh pole with a piece of red cloth on the handle.

    Scaling: strenght c dex c

    Specials: when a r2 is used the user will hold the blade in a horizontal position and charge the blade with energy, when unleashed it wil sent a red thin bomerang like wave of energy that if misses will turn around and come from behind, if it misses again it will go back into the sword and that will unleash a wave of energy that will knock anyone close to the user down.
    sword has 300 durabilety and the spacial takes 150 and will not change when 2handed

    Description
     A hiltless dagger with an extremely sharp tip. It belonged to a cultest who was engulfed by the Flames of Chaos. The Blade inself looks harmless but it has the touch of lava.

    Auxillary: 50hp to player per click (exception if charred orange ring is equiped). 1H strong attack replaced by grapple that deal base fire damge*2.
    Enchantable: No
    Upgrade: No

    Avalability: Founded as loot on a corpes on lava near boss fog.

    Weapon Type: Light Crossbow
    Weight: Inconsequential 

    Description: A small, light crossbow, held easily in one hand. The small size and weight allow the user to quickly reload and move freely while shooting, but the damage suffers as a result.


    Unique effects: You can move around to your heart's content while firing the crossbow, and can still move, albeit slowly, while reloading it. Reload times are also quick. However, this thing has piss-poor damage, and your only hope to make it useful is equip good bolts, and upgrade it to the maximum +9 (praise Rurikhan) to get that crazy dexterity scaling.

    For those of you who find themselves utterly unable to picture this, imagine Corvo Attano's crossbow, or a crossbow with a short hilt and it's the size of a gun.

    Hand of Protection

    Weapon Type: Magical Hand (Like Dark Hand)
    Weight: I'd say 2

    Description: A fistful of divine light that deals magic damage, and can block anything. Strong faith is needed to unlock this weapon's true potential.


    Unique effects: This thing deals low base damage, and requires 28-40 faith to use properly as a weapon. If you meet those requirements, the hand's damage is wee bit higher, and the R2 attack becomes a really powerful Force (think Force with a marginally slower range and cast time, and 1.5x WotG knockback) at the cost of durability. However, faith is not required to wield it as a shield, and as a shield, it can block 100% of any damage type. However, it has 7 stability.
