Deep down - next gen dark souls?
Anyone seen the trailer for this game? Seems like a mixture between Demon's souls / Dark souls and Assasins creed, exclusive for PS4. The main character looks exactly as in demon's souls.

Re: Deep down - next gen dark souls?
It looks promising. I guess I still don't know enough about it, it could be great but it good also wind up being a mess - I just don't know enough. I guess they're looking to mesh AC's Animus idea with DkS' combat (hopefully) and look.
We'll see...
Does anyone know if it's going to be a launch title BTW?

It's not gonna be a launch title, iirc it's in the early stages of developme, it kinda looks like elder scrolls to me tbh, hopefully it's nothing like it since I don't like elder scrolls cause they're outdated as fudge.

Re: Deep down - next gen dark souls?
Actually looks pretty sweet! Seemed like they were mixing a lot of concepts together for their atmosphere... some places looked futuristic and some looked like ancient ruins and stuff. I'm pretty exited to see what this is gonna be like.. although I'm not going to be getting a ps4 for a long time, I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on this thanks to you.

It's set in future NYC which explains the futuristic look. The medieval look is probably you going back in time via a machine or, like AC, memories.

Guys this really belongs in Off Topic since this is not relating to a Souls game.

This is in the wrong section. It is not about souls so goes in off topic.
Please everyone use the report function when this happens in the future, I'd hope it's the first person who reports the thread as misplace, not the 4th or 5th.

Aha, sorry for posting this in the wrong section!
Regarding the game, I don't think they have released that much info about it yet. However, as I understand there will be some kind of playable version available at TGS this month, when they will also present the game more in depth. I think it looks really interesting actually.

Oh god I can't wait to see some gameplay. This definitely looks like it has some awesome potential. When is TGS anyways?

Action-RPGs definitely seem to be 'in' at the moment.

Re: Deep down - next gen dark souls?
just looked at the footage and holy crap, it finally happened, a proper 'monster hunter' for the ps consoles, suck it 3ds lol. yeah it has a more medieval look to it but its more monster hunter than anything else. i do hate the face that its sci-fi like ac, i hated that concept.

Looks interesting though I'm not a big fan of the futuristic stuff but I am curious on how it all ties in together. Can't wait to see more.

Re: Deep down - next gen dark souls?
That means you dont need PSN+ to play it.
Still its Capcom , i dont trust them to do good with the game due to DLC.
