Re: Lordran's Deliverance
As long as you meet the basic reqs your in. Zack will add you to the op when he gets on. Welcome to the Deliverance. Just read the op and declare an armor path selection in addition to the area which you already declared. I'm the xbl leader so just ask if you need anything.

Okay so you will follow the massive armor path; when you rank up you will gain access to the Giant Set as well. Sound good?

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Nope. For now all weapons are allowed minus those that must be earned with rank (the Darkmoon ones you mentioned). Preferably be able to use DMB on your main though. Our cov is still being refined as Zack hasn't been able to be on as much as he would like recently.
Oh and I forget if it's in the op but no flip ring with the massive armors; we are trying to fix the DM image by showing skill and honor not make it worse by flipping around with ridiculous poise. Anyways thats about it. Once again I bid you welcome to our cov.

Thank you very much, and I don't often use flip ring.

I actually use RoFaP and Havel's Ring so I can do a normal fast roll.
Build looks good to me.

Well except make one weapon +15 so you can DMB buff it.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yeah. Trust me DMB on a +15 will allow greater damage output than elemental though having a solid alternative when it runs out is good.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Oh small bit of warning we may introduce level limits in each area though I'm pretty sure we will have a 120 for each area so I wouldn't worry. We just don't want a bad rep and invading woefully outmatched people is completely bad for rep.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
A thought just occurred, what about casters? They're often gimp with a crown. (not always, but for pyromancers and socerers without the tcc, the 10 or 20% boost is important.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yes, but with both ring and crown of dusk, and a maxed flame, gc hits for just about 700, so I can 2 shot most sl60-90s. Losing the 20% from the crown would cut it to 550-580, increasing the number of casts it takes to kill by 1. Thats a big deal when you only have 8 casts.
Just trying to help. Maybe a caster oriented uniform including the crown?
I'm fine either way, I can build around it, but it would really hamper pyromancers unless they are glass cannons.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I don't think we want it to be quite that strong; if we have 120s 2 shotting 80-90 we just fulfill the bad rep we earned. We imposed the limits on armor in order to avoid getting bad rep; allowing casters to be quite that strong may earn us more of it. I don't want to gimp them but we may have to.
I don't know lets wait until we can discuss it with Zack as well but our purpose is to help restore honor to the DMs and get more respect. I'm worried 2 shot kill GC may hinder that.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Its for the sl 80s that I was asking. Thats my sl 80 LH pyro.
http://tinyurl.com/764skef
In new londo thats not unreasonable. All of that is easily attainable by legitimate means. Especially at sl 80, I trade a good 4-600 hp, a quarter of max stamina, and 30+ poise to be able to 2shot builds with 40 vit.
Again, I'm fine in either case, but thats a perfectly valid build.
My 120 dex build can do 1500 damage with the 2h GS R2 combo, thats fatal to most everyone.
Its tough to articulate my point here, I hope you see it.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I see it; 2 shots are possible by other builds but without boosts casters are disadvantaged. Perhaps an exception must be made.
