What Mods Do You Want?

Now, as a preface I'd like to mention in which sense I am using the term modding. See, I know on console modding is pretty much always a bad thing, as often it is used to gain advantages over other players and typically to cause grief and trouble for others. However, what I am talking about in this thread is more so altering things in doing stuff like, custom skins, custom made bosses, special weapons. Mostly things that are designed for a single player experience, or an experience with people who also have the same mod as you.

So, I was curious, what sort of mods would you guys like? I know there are some common ones like "fixing" certain armor sets, like adding the plume to Ornstein's helm or creating a better cape for the Silver Knight set. I was curious what sort of mods you guys would love to see on the Dark Souls PC version?

One thing in particular I've been interested in, is old world Dark Souls. Or rather, prime time of the gods. See, I've wanted to fight through an Anor Londo with Silver Knight's casting lightning spears, or imagine fighting Gwyn when he was at his best. I always feel great for having beaten these powerful bosses in their weakened state, but you know what would make me feel godly? Defeating the gods when they were in their prime.

Anyone else have any interesting mods they would love to see?

Go into a bit more detail, what exactly would you want in this mod? Outside of Skyrim haha.

Honestly, I'll leave in it the hands of the modding community. The things they come up with can be really jaw-dropping at times. For instance, I'm sure that the missing plume on Orn's helm will be fixed pretty much on Day 1.

I await the day they fix every armor set, by adding cod pieces. Although creating NPC's and quests might be kind of cool. I imagine people creating mods for the Pendant, and the GoW being added in will be pretty common ones.

New levels might be kind of cool also, if we have modders interested enough. Personally, I'd love to enter the area below you can see from Firelink, those buildings down there. Plus I imagine some cool level design can be done, maybe even people finding ways to put in shortcuts between their created areas and the ones already in game. Plus an expanded Asylum would be a really cool level if you ask me.

Agreed! I don't care if I would have to wear a helmet with no stats, it would be worth it to have a thick beard!

Rynn made a thread about someone modding the abyss, making hundreds of certain enemies spawn there. Coming in waves, kinda like a survival mode.

A hordes mode for coop would be great too.

Honestly I'm fine with just the plume and the cape. (maybe some other small adjustments in armour sets) What I would like to see is when you have an elemental weapon that the effect is on the whole time, like Gwyn's sword. I also like to see 60 fps, but I'm sure someone will found out how to get rid of the 30 fps lock.

Less from releases an official program the chance for bigger mods will be rather small :| but i wish there would be more different types of spells not just pyro, cristal, oolacil n miracles i feel from realy missed out on spells to avoid the same thing that happened with des (easy mode)

A minimap, compass or maybe a revamped inventory mod would be damn useful.

Emergence, how could you think I would have complaints about you guys?

A mod where Dragon Body can develop into something similar as Eggs, however it can skew into different paths depending on teh character's prefrences of combat such as Pyromancy and such, and form... however goes back to 0 after death.

Lichdom is something I would love to see, maybe as a Gravelord Rank 4 type deal. Similar to the dragon body, but instead you use a Phylachery that maybe you can't remove from your inventory.

That would be cool...

Imagine, Different Dragon Bodys that form to different things...

Killing with Toxic Weaponry or even Poison would develop the Dragon, or using Bleed weapons even... Occult, Divine, Enchanted, Chaos... Pyromancy, Miracles, Sorceries... Dragon Weapons, Chaos Weapons, Steel Weapons... Gravelord Invasion, Darkwraith Invasion, Darkmoon Invasion...

Hm... would be nice to see different Dragon Types... :evil:

Or at least cosmetic new dragon models, maybe making them a bit darker or givine them wings and tails more matching for their bodies. Or making it looks like a mini stone dragon. New dragon weapons might be cool with the idea you are saying. A toxic dragonoid using like, and undead dragon's claw dagger. It deals poison or toxin instead of bleed, and deals not so much damage by itself but with the constant threat of toxin it could be pretty deadly.
