Welcome to the Forums! Good point, I do believe that this point has already been made about the lordvessal, but then again, so many theroies float around about other things (AKA pendent and how to kill E. dragon) so who knows.

The one in firelink is for if you drop a covenant ring, lava ring and artorias ring or feed them ti frampt they will appear there to not break the game. The one in Gwyn's tomb some say it contains a maiden's set, however I have never found one and I have killed Gwyndolin before O&S and no, found nothing there.

Yeah, the only time I heard of the chest containing anything was when I was doing no bonfire runs along with fireLESS and Rynn. Rynn said that she found a pendant in the chest. I always open it hoping to find something, never happens.

It does not contain the Lordvessel, if you kill big chest she 'drops' it for you when she dies.

Yeah, its the weirdest thing! She also said she got a message stating that the bonfire in the Great Hallow was "unstable." Interesting stuff, but none of us were able to duplicate it.

Well Rynn treated it like it was something to be overlooked. She chalked it up to strange "strange occurances" with the pendant stating that there are tons of places the pendant can be acquired. I thought it was more than a programming glitch/error, but she didnt think so. Let me find the posts so you can check for yourself!

I recall she saying something like that in another thread i guess, but she said it was more likely to be a glitch
