Covenant wars and SL question

What are some common places for covenant wars. I understand each covenant has its homeground in which it plans mass invasions, but is it just random places for the wars?

I take it invasion levels depend on your covenant and the place you are invading?

Depends on what works best. We pick the best places to either host, coop or invade, then pick SLs that fit. So the archive's war (not the best example of SL) is a prime spot, as is the Londos etcetc.

We mostly work on the lore on Skype, and by that we whip the lore monkeys till they finish on the typewriters.

Covenant war locations tend to be chosen from one of the 'homebaseses' of the covenants they represent.
