Hey everyone,
While not new to the game (Played through Demons Souls and Dark souls on console), I am pretty new to PvP. Aside from the typical invasion I didnt PvP much on the console, but am looking to do much more of that on the PC
I started making a Dex build, but am now thinking of making a hybrid build. The main issue however is my lack of Vitality.
Ive gone through the game on my Thief with 9 vitality because I like the challenging play style. And with minimal armor and vitality, 1 mistake can easily cause my death. And really, can you say your playing Dark Souls if your allowed to make more than 1 mistake? ;P
So my question is, should I put more into health for PvP or is having 550~ health possible if Im careful? I worry they can turtle all day and trade blows to win.
I want to go a ninja flip build (so so glad you need to have 25% to flip now. Flipping full havel set is a large part of the reason I never sought PvP on console) with Abyss Greatsword. I would like to offhand dagger (Dark Silver Tracer?) for pure cool factor, though I would have a shield as a backup. I also have an Asend.+5 Pyro flame. This leaves roughly 17-18 pounds for armor if I use Havels Ring with DWG.
What do you more veterans think of this build? Should I focus equally on Str&Dex for sword, or more on Dex to reduce casting time of Pyromancy? Should I cave and add on to Vit or be a baller and accept that I will die to lucky shots in addition to any mistake I make? Should I go with the dagger offhand, or is that more retarded than the rest of my build?
I plan on going to SL99 statwise
In advance, for any and all who take the time to read this and give advice, thank you very much!
