Lautrec of Carim?

I'm not sure if this has already been clarified or I'm just thinking wrongly but.

Is it possible that Lautrecs love for the Goddess Fina drove him to Anor Londo because he mistook Gwynevere for Fina, and upon finding out that she is in fact not Fina he believed to be forsaken by his goddess, then taking out his rage on Gwynevere, explaining why when you invade his world Anor Londo is dark.

This is for the most part speculation, and it was caused by watching ENB's lore video from over 6months ago, so this could easily have been explained already.

Someone please enlighten me.

Strange, it was for me the last time I did it.

I always assumed Lautrec was a Darkwraith, in which case I don't think he mistook Gwynevere for Fina.

I think he's DW though because he's all about Humanity and seems to have no problem with the idea of killing somebody for their humanity...and then he farms DM in Anor Londo.

I guess whether or not it's dark could be an important distinction, but how can you tell when any passages to the outside world are fogged?

anyway i have to say i am having a hard time beleving lutrec mistook some random illusion that does not say "hello, i'm fina", as his patron diety! And i don't think his anor londo is dark. Its quite hard to tell though as the door is closed. maybe someone should try to open it in his world. I think lutrec is just loved by fina and is like "Yea even the goddess of love loves me so with that kind of protection i can just go around doing whatever the F i want including killing folks for their humanity."

It's only dark because you destroyed the Gwynevere illusion in your world. It's always been bright and sunny in my games because I take on Lautrec befor O&S. the one time I did make the illusion dissipate it was dark in lautrecs world too.
