Dragon head stone.... not pointless?!

After reading on the wiki about the path of the dragon covenenant I decided to try it, got all the way to rank 2 and got the torso stone after trying the head stone and being disappointed. Loved the torso stone but still felt like I was missing something about the head stone. 20 hours later, I thought... what if I hold down the button? My flame continued until my stamina was drained doing 300 damage instead of 50-80. I'm not saying it's going to revolutionize anything but I'm still happy to find out that it can shoot down something bigger than a mosquito. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but felt I should share.

Additionally, I have heard a rumor that the damage of the flame attack is increased once more at covenent rank 3. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

I always thought that dragon outfit looked like a more tha normal furry ostrich lol

I love the Dragon outfit look, but hate farming those Drakes, and still need about 15 Dragon scales myself.

On topic I know the wiki states that the flame gets stronger at rank 3 but I can't personally confirm it.

The whole dragon outfit looks great, though with just the head on it reminds me of the opening fight in final fantasy IX against Baku. Like a pinata helmet.

It does get stronger but not much. If you are a dedicated dragonoid or don't mind grinding for the scales then its worth it. Otherwise from +2 to +3 the difference is not great.

300 damage for a whole bar of stamina? Lol, that's awful. I think an unupgraded club does more than that.

yes it does get stronger, but in my opinion the extra damage isn't worth the time farming.

Indeed, but imo it's more for baiting/interupting heals/finishing off from safety all while keeping both of your hands free.

Did you guys know the dragon roar increases even bow damage? Awesome for pve.

Refrain from detailing the glitch if you were going to do that. Also if you have the Cloranthy ring and/or the Grass Crest Shield, you do way more than 300. As your stamina will regen while you are using it.

yea thats old news. I saw that video months ago.

the roar boosts all damage, i've seen people use it with avelyn to devastating effect. does the roar improve with cov rank?

I have never seen anyone mention that the roar improves. The multiplier effect it has on the weapons is the same.

i can honestly say i love the dragon head now, ive used it 3 times to finnish ppl in pvp in the past half hour, its a nice quick medium range attack that almost nvr fails, it also adds flair to there defeat

Dragon roar damage and range increases with covenant rank. I have tested this, the roar buff did about 100 extra damage on dregelings (from 1200 to 1300 damage).
