Low Level Run Choice of Weapon STR12 DEX8

Ok. So doing a low level run, and looking at weapon options for a SL3 cleric (put 1 point into ATT to have an extra spell).

STR12, DEX8. So far, I think Handaxe is probably the best. Any other viable options? Tried the Reinforced Club, but when it misses... ouch. It does have a 30 stability though, which is quite good for a small weapon.

In PvP though, Im' really not liking it (did some lvl 3 invading in Blighttown all last night... mainly got killed but I did get some other people there with my Raw +5 Reinforced club happy

Light Crossbow could help you a lot. Reinforced Club and the Hand Axe are the best choices for you.

PvP club is ... lacking big grin

Just has such a terrible recovery time.

Handaxe is also 2 units of weight lighter. Probably teh better choice overall.

I have a different experience with the club. Killed many invaders with it. Awesome weapon.

It's great if you can BS/parry or consistently land hits. But my issue is that if I miss connecting with a shield, the limited range really screws me.
