Lol best buy was out of the hauppage(don't know how to spell it) hd pvr an I needed it for an event so i ended up with thw Roxio....its prob the 2nd best to the haup but still 1080i and works great for me!

Oh In from canada and stuffs much expensive but the roxio was $99 and the haun was going to to be like $250!!

You should Reim I am seeing a lot of 400 and 500K from kills that's got to be close to 380 no?

This is going to be so fun...I also met a guy I duel with in the burg last night...he was a summon also at lvl 300 and I OHKO him with a CMW GC...he msgd me and we laughed about it!!

Hey my faith is 50 now and im using ivory talisman getting 220 or 221 adj...is the DM talisman worth it or close still?

This is kinda off covenant question but will relate hopefully in the end. Can anyone explain exactly how the Darkmoon cov invasion system works? I know DMs use two items (DSR & Blue orb) to invade but what is the difference between the two (i.e. effects on SL invasion range and location). It appears the DSR only works in Dark Ano and the Blue orb works anywhere.

I'm thinking about turning my hunter into a DM and invade sinners in the forest.

Any input would be welcomed.

DM works like this. You first search for anyone that is +/- 10% of your level with the orb before searching downward (below that 10%). Orb will invade any sinners in that section, while the ring will only allow invade in Dark Anor Londo, where it is like the forest. 713's can be invaded by 300's.

Oh yeah, the Darkmoon Talisman is worth it. It is the best talisman for Faith 50.

I prefer straight SLB. I tried CMW and SLB. There is a lot of magic defense running around in the Forest. Plus, I didn't want to fast swap a catalyst and Talisman.

Hmmm I have to check with a PSN friend with a 300 see is he has a DMB talisman...I kinda want the 3rd cast of SLB I prefer it also....WOG is so much more viable than spells and ya everyone has less light defense!!!

Edit I guess I could join and lvl to get the talisman...then kill for SLB!

Rumed - thanks bro for the information - that exactly what I needed. I think my SL314 is going to join DMs for a bit to see how it is. I will be doing anti-ganking patrols in the forest as is the norm but I will also be able to bring the guilty to justice in other locations.

Also as DM in the forest you cannot hurt anoher hunter...for all they know your just another hunter lol

Yes - that is beauty of it I have invaded the forest with 2 other blues before (so it was 2 hunters and 1 DM) - when I invaded both of them were banging the heck out a host - they basically WoG stormed him to death. This way I will be still able to help out my hunter brethren. About to go into another game right now with my hunter because I killed Gwyndolin on this play through.

Though one thing I forgot to mention our PvP can be very slow.

First we have to find someone that has sinned, is in our level, and we are priortized last over all other invasions.

Blue spirts go first
Then red
Then Darkmoons.

Also its about darn time ya' advertised your XBL tag. I hope you have sins....cause I will be looking for you!

@ Rudmend - thanks for the additional information bro.I'm still going to give it a whirl - nothing like making a sinner pay the price whether in the forest or elsewhere Sure bro - I just went into a new game with my SL314 hunter so I might be sin free I will check once I purchase a BoG. While on anti-ganking missions I only knowingly invaded with a DM on about 3 occasions (one DM did a fantastic plunging attack on a host who jumped the cliff - it was a sight to behold ) - they appear to be rare so your info provided an explanation why.

Nice video DarkW17! I always love forest pvp vids, be it from hosts or vaders aslong as its not ganking. I think im gonna make my forest host character in a forest hunter again just cause i hate being banged by other hunters lol.

Ive slacked so much on the hunting part that i feel i need to make up for it and go kick some ganker *** again. I just love the sweet sweet tears of gankers i killed and the joy of beating those bastards! Thats something i miss when hosting. When i host i feel im killing ma bro´s lol.

Ya I kinda felt the same way about killing my hunter bros...until I started hosting a lot and saw how many evil hunters there were...as you can see in the vid the honest ones wait there turn and get the respect they deserve...the others are no better than the gankers they hunt!!

This guy also has a few cracked reds left(gotta find a wraith that can hook me up lol) so he invades...I have saved some of the hunters that vade me from the gank...they tend to be nice after that lol!!!

I burned through some vasions yesterday and I was just evil...I vaded with my RTSR triggered and suns 1stborn(mircle boost one) with the crown of dusk and 50 fth using DM talisman....I was doing 1200dmg a WOG into full havels/giants just destroying gankers

So after joining the Catbro´s on my former GL toon ive been playing for like 3 hours and already got FH+2.
Met a new nemesis and also some cool dueler guys but most was just plain old gankers. And that was just what i liked lol.
Ive started to taunt every guy i kill and know for shure is a ganker and got some nice hatemail for it and i love it haha .
I used my chameleon+css trick and most guys didnt stand a chance with that combo but after a few times they knew what i was up to and changed tactics. They started pulling out DS bows and just shoot me from a distance and not even engaging cuz they where scared i think. So i just waited for another hunter to finish them off.

All in all, i had a great time and cant wait to finish work tomorrow to play again

When I host if I see a rival hunter that ganks me(I don't mind I'm there for fun) ill hide as a tree sometimes....then bang crown/bellowing CSS to the face...at lvl 300 with everyone running about 2400 vit its not a OHKO....but its pretty funny to me that's what's its all about!

Also what lvl are you I host/vade at 120 and 310 now!!
