Members - Please Read

Everyone,

I have noticed a large amount of negative comments and unhelpful posts recently in the forums. Many of these comments have been directed towards new users with valid questions. These forums were created to give members of the wiki and DkS community a place to share ideas, thoughts and information about the game. I know that many members have strong opinions but that is no reason to push the limits of the forum guidelines. in the future please be mindful of your interactions in the forums. This site should be a place that is welcome to all members regardless of differing opinions.

I've seen these comments, read a few of the threads. I'll make sure you don't see any of that from me then.

I'm going to rep this up when I can tomorrow. Definitely agreed Baal, there's never a reason to be rude to others we can all get along.

If you see repeat threads people, direct people to the resources thread or merely mention what was brought up in said thread. If you feel something will start a flame war don't go in and just say the thread is worthless, if you honestly feel there is a problem report it and let the moderators decide.

Yes when someone new comes in they could be a troll, or just some person who really loves Dark Souls. Let's treat everyone with the respect they deserve.

Forums are for helping people, sharing ideas and discussions, agreeing or not. There's no reason for rude posts

Indeed, actually another point with that. Never criticize someone if you feel they aren't contributing. We are here to help not get things in return. It is nice of course for those we help to give back but we shouldn't simply expect it. It's giving a gift, which often brings the most joy. Hell if they give you one back even better, still some people might not be able to or want to contribute. And we shouldn't be angry at them for it, they have their reasons.

Ok, I completely agree, though I didn't see any of those mentioned posts lately...

I've seen posts where people debate their opinions mainly about PvP and balance but to be honest I've not seen any thread downgrading new people. Maybe the mods were too fast and deleted them first haha?

But seriously, this is the best community evaaahhhr. 99% of the members are very good persons. At the end, we members always look forward for the enrichment of the community and are glad to answer most questions.

Though if I had to say the best thing of this place, it's the mind-power we have. I mean mind-power as the ability to think, to make-up theories, about lore, about items, about builds, about everything. We are very creative and are eager to discover more and more of this wonderful game, and then share it with the world.
