It's meant for PvE. It has a lot of casts, and does more damage than the soul arrows.

But it takes 50 int to use, and its slow as hell. And I want to use it for pvp...

50 int is nothing when you do PvE, since you can level up everything to maximum.
Most PvE enemies are slow as well. And if they aren't then you can easily outsmart them and hit them anyway, so speed doesn't really mean much in PvE.
Good luck using it in PvP.

It can be used in PvP, but you'll need to use it while not locked-on and judge where your opponent will be in about 1,5 seconds. Plus I also think it stuns.
I've used it in the past and got some decent results out of it.
In PvE it's really great....just get a bunch of enemies lined up and cast that bad-boy and you'll get them all.

I've been using it in pvp for about an hour, and I figured out you have to be semi close to them. they dodge but you just spin where they land and get them

It gets a significant casting speed increase with 45 Dex. Still slow though, and the best way to use it is by predicting a running attack and cast it.

Also, it can go through some objects I believe. I know it goes through trees, so if someone is using somethign as cover, that can go through it.

I actually just beat two gankers with it. One was circling for the bs, and I caught him with it by spinning around. A OHKO and parried the other guy for the win. I was happy.

I've believe it passes through shields as well which would certainly make it useful against tanks and heavy gankers who usually don't bother to roll.

Well it doesn't go through trees I figured out, just up them into the sky. And I don't think it would go through shields, but next time I fight a turtle, I'll try.

It deals magic damage so whether or not it goes through shields doesn't actually matter.

I wish I could remember where I saw a video for this guy using nothing but Dragon Breath in PvP, and absolutely pwned the other guy. It was a work of art. But if you try the spell in lots of situations, you'll see it can be underrated. Try it on the mob up in the balcony in Undead Parish. Any time you get a few clustered, it can be great. I basically use it to replace the soul arrows and preserve the good stuff for bosses.

Yea I realized that I got the idea from this vid and the of the guy is turtling with a sanctus so it just did nothing to protect him.
