    Hello there,

    Guys, where can I find data about the Stats damage scale? I mean, in Demon's Souls we had something like a threshold... I mean, back then, 30 Dex was something like a cap, cause S params wouldn't add so much, unless you were a full Dex.

    Was it clear?

    With the new PVP levels (50, 100, 200) I'm trying to make some Dex/Int and Dex/Faith experiments...

    40 for weapons (ie stat scaling with a weapon), 50 for casting (magic adjust with a talismine/catalyst). Str can stop at 27 because 2handing a weapon adds a 50% str bonus

    But it is only for requirements, does not?

    Back in the Demon's times, one of the best ranged builds for PVE was based in 30 dex, the best use-per-point for a S bow and a mixed Faith Int (cause of Beast's Talisman).

    In the case, till 30s, Dex added 4 points to the bow's final damage, but afterwards, it gives only 2.

    I mean, think about an A grade weapon for Int; would it get its best scale per point till 30, for example?

    For PVP and for PVE, I think it's good to know the "best use per pont".

    Yeah, in dks diminishing returns for weapon scaling is 40 (27 only if using a weapon with primary str scaling in both hands) and 50 for the scaling on catalists and talismines.

    Is a character builder that will demonstrate my point, equip a katana and raise dex to 50 1 point at a time and watch its ar increase.

    If you are familiar with Demon's here is a quick and fairly accurate list of things to keep in mind.

    You can't reasonably have Sorcerery and Miricles anymore

    Cursed Weapon is Power Within, and is a body buff not a weapon buff.

    Stats now all go to 40 for scaling (instead of just END for stamina)

    Most weapons are still the same or very very similar. Notable changes include MoonLight being an INT weapon not a FAI weapon. And Divine/Magic upgrade paths being far less substantial as they were in Demon's

    Divine and Enchanted upgrade paths cap at 50.

    I'm thinking about a mix of Dex and Faith, not sure if for the 100's arena it could be good...

    Before PtD, I rolled an full faith based level 120 at PSN, and used a decoy strategy: I aways started the PVP pretending I'm a DMB based char, and suddenly, I used to change to Claymore and start to pressure with Force/WotG, succeeded by R1, R2, R1, R1 combos.

    Now, with level 100, I think it would be better to really use the Dex bonus, because of new weapons and possibility to really roll a DMB.

    You guys think its better to post it in a new thread? silly

    Keep in midn if you go 27 for STR, you don't get that STR damage when you parry/riposte. So if you want PvP, and want to parry, then going above 27 str is reasonable. Just having the threat of parrying can be very useful, and change the way your opponent moves. But if he knows you do not parry, that can open weaknesses in your game.

    I think you need more VIT on that build, and are too heavy on the STR and ATT.

    You think I'd better get less ATT and STR? But if I do so, then I wouldn't use Clay, which is only 2 points far from Uchi...

    Plus, without the ATT 16, I will loss some of my skills: DBMx1, Forcex1 and WotGx2. I really think 6 WotG and 21 Forces helps a lot in some situation, like being cornered or even for blockers.

    Yeah try to have 1500 HP minimum. Try fap ring and 40 Vit.

    Or just don't get backstabbed. Then the extra hp isn't necessary

    Thats the reason of not givin up the clay. Its side-to-side swing is a good counter agains the backstab fans silly

    So, is the physical damage a must? I mean, enough to keep a 30+ DEX?
