It just happens.
The more I play this game the more I die...to stupid things. I think it's about selfconfidence.
I remember dying 3 times to the silver knight above the titanite demon at anor londo. I was running to that narrow corridor with a soul item and being stun locked to death.
The first time I did it was on my 4th playthrough

Many of us here on the forum have played through and explored Dark Souls so many times that we are often prone to overconfidence. Dark Souls is notorious for being difficult but we tend to forget about that

Lol she killed me 3 times....... but I got her. the battle lasted about 5 green blossoms, 9 estus flasks, and three humanity...
but I got her!
That was amazing. Like playing Dark Souls blind..... oh god I know what run im going to try now!....
but the I went to the Demon Ruins, got the Large Fire Ember...and nothing is hard anymore....

It happens. I have certain enemies that if I don't fight at least once a week, then they just give me a hard time whenever I go to visit. The list includes the Serpent Warriors, Quelaag, Capra Demons in Lost Izalith, and Gwyn.
