Now I know it would be a big advantage for the host, and it would be very hard to kill him. But this is Dark Souls after all.
I love the idea of having to fight your way to the host. That's awesome. It'd be great if when you GL you automatically spawn a Black Phantom Guard, like 3 BP Knights stand around you waiting for the invaders or something. Most of the time an invader's going to wait for at least one more buy to attack. That'd be a pretty wicked throwdown.Kirk-Barb wrote:What if when a person gravlorded an area, he was stuck in the area, but all of the mobs were now his ally. SOV and DW invaders would have to fight there way to him.

@Spurgun: that's what he already said

this 100% if they just made this simple change we would see GLing alot more popular in all areas. if you can invade from any where you should be able to GL from any where.

The problem with this is that Gravelord's need to be able to act as a host for other phantoms to summon into their worlds, which requires the boss to be alive.

They become the boss in a sense. And in dark London you can be invaded and summon phantoms regardless if that boss is alive or dead.
But grave lording should be an exception, it only makes sense.

That only works because Gwyndolin is still alive and becomes the boss of the area. Meh
