I'm having abit of a Dilemma I don't know how to solve.

I plan on using

Gold-Hemmed Black Hood
Armour of Thorns
Dark Gauntlets
Havel's Leggings
Balder Shield

I might use a Bow of some sort and I'm trying to decide whether a Balder Side Sword
would be good aswell. Im not sure what to upgrade it into though.

Ugh..
And possibly trying to keep between the 60 - 80 range aswell.
If that's even possible I'll think it over in the shower.

Unfortunately I'd say no, you'd need to get just over SL 100, depending on how effective you want this build to be. You're going to want high Dex to make the most out of the Balder Side Sword's scaling (and your bow), you'll also want a decent amount of strength to be able to maneuver well.

On top of that, depending on what you want to do (PvP/PvE), you might want a bit of Vitality and a fair amount of Endurance.

Don't know if you're planning to buff your Sword at all, but it's obviously the best thing to do to squeeze out the most damage, so you'll need either CMW (over 30 Int, but GMW would probably suffice) or Sunlight Blade and DMB if you go the Faith path.

Just use an elemental version of the BSS and you can pump the rest of the statpoints in Vit and End
