Summoning between NG and NG+

If one person is in NG and another is in NG+, but their soul levels are close to each other, can they still summon each other?

I went through the page for online play as well as new game plus and couldn't find any information on this.

Yes, the game doesn't count wich game the player is (NG, NG+, NG+++) but only counts the SL of each player. But, beware, sometimes you can be summoned to a NG+++ player with a toon in the NG, and the enemies there will have the damage, health and souls of the NG+++.

To the OP most definately yes. In my time I've co-op'd a ton in the Depths, and am regularly summoned into NG+ and above worlds. At first this really caught me out, rushing in to OHK rats, only to discover that a direct hit doesn't even make the rat flinch, but merely aggro's them into a poisonous counter. I now take nothing for granted, and always test the waters before wading in.
