Problem with Ingward and Transient Curses

Hi, i'm new to this forum and I don't really know if this thread is in the correct section, but I've read through the others and it seems this is the place

The thing is I've reached Ingward in New Londo Ruins but he won't sell me any transient curses as I expected, and that sucks because I ran out of them the moment I reached the rooftop.

Is this a known bug or I'll just have to curse myself with the frogs and farm curses from the ghosts?

The merchant who sells trasient curses is the one in the aqueduct near firelink shrine (behind a grate).

Ingward also sells them.

If you're on the roof you should be able to kill the Kings alright. Just lower the water, then after that you can run by the ghosts to get back to the fog door as needed.

After you kill the Kings go back to the rooftop and talk to Ingward. He'll relocate to Firelink and sell curses there. (You may want to farm a TC for the trip back to Ingward, or buy one from the sewer merchant. It'll make it a little easier.)

Well, according to the wiki, the female merch it only sells 4 transient curses per playthrough, and cost x4 times that.

I just realized my game may be the stock version, and this may come with the 1.05 patch. The thing is I can't connect my 360 to internet b/c I bought it banned. Is there some way to update the game without going LIVE?

I may try the other approach, the one about running like hell to the kings I mean

Speaking of the shortcut runback to the Kings, did you already break the pot with 2 Transient Curses in it by where you jump down? When you get to the end of the bridge just run diagonally ahead and to your right, it's hidden behind a wall, sort of. I only mention it because it took me half a dozen playthroughs before I saw it.:roll:

I believe Ingward only sells them after the patch.
There's two in a pot at the start of the bridge, two in a pot behind a wall at the base of the first staircase, and two behind the first screaming ghost.
The alternative is to get cursed, or use a cursed weapon, to farm a few.

Another idea would be to summon help for the Kings and message your phantom to trade for some curses.

You can't miss him. Just go talk to him at some point after killing the Kings.

It makes long-term Kings co-op much easier to have him there; you don't have to keep farming Transient Curses.
