Make my build!

I decided to give DeS another playthrough. Probably NG and NG+ if I need to double up on boss souls. But I've done so many builds

So you guys should just decide for me which weapons/spells/miracles I'll be using.

A Note: I'm rather fond of starting as a knight as they get 1 spell 1 miracle out of the box

Why not then start with the Royal and get yourself a free starting ring?

I'm not a big fan of Royal's staring gear, and honestly I'm so tired of those blue lasers. I really like the Longsword and Fluted Armor AND I think the Kite shield is one of the best looking in the game.

But hey it's not my build this time around

Here is a build for ya. It´s challenging though but very fun...

Class: Any light gear class, no heavy armor/fat roll. And that goes for the entire game.

Vit: 30

Int: 25

End: 35

Str: 18

Dex: 18

Mag: 18

Fth: 18

Lck: 30

Requires 2 playthroughs. End game around level 110-120

So here is the catch, you have to level up in this order:

1. Luck must reach 30 before your start leveling ANY other stat.

2. Str, Dex, Mag, Faith must be 18 before you can level up Vitality, you can level End and Int at your own choise, but Vitality is locked untill you reach level 18 in the 4 base stats.

3. Now Vitality is open for leveling and you choose wich stat you will level first but stats cannot be higher than mentioned above.

Optional rules:

1. You are not allow to carry more than 35 arrows pr. zone
2. You are not allowed to shop for spices, you may only use the once you find onsite.
3. You are not allowed to shop for grass, you may only use what you find and farm throughout the game.
4. Shrine of Storms and Valley of Defilement MUST be done on pure black world tendency and both playthroughs...


Sounds hard?
Trust me it is but it is just so wonderfully rewarding :-)

Try a MLGS build. Start as Cleric:

+50 Vit
15 Int (100 MP for SC and Warding)
40 End
Base Str, or minimum Str for a backup blessed Knightsword and Adj Shield/Dark Silver Shield
Base Dex
Base Mag
36 Faith (SC and WoG/Recovery)
Base Luck

This would be hyper easy mode though and the game will be a walk in the park

Actually MLGS is pretty challenging because it has low AR. Either way, I think she wants PvP.

I cannot see how that setup can be even remotely challenging.

You have a TON of health, on top of that 2 or 3 regen items that will fill around 800hp every 30 sec using more than 2, on top of this you set it op with a spell that reduces damage taken by 70%. Why even need this spell when you got around 2000hp, i dont think a single enemy in the game has a chance to kill you with that much health and regen...
I am very curious to hear how anyone would find this challenging?

Oh and what does MLGS build stand for?

Moonlight Greatsword although it is spelled differently in DeS.(If I remember well)

And really the AR is REALLY low,it isn't a good one for PvP since turtles are rare and you usually plague them :/
Either do a Faith build,a BBS build or a Magic dual katanas build.
You can find more info(and builds) on the official wiki for DeS(google Demon Souls wikidot).

But if you already make them,well you can do an Ostrava cosplay o/

I started the BBS build. Need to get flame lurker done so I can make it (Garl Vinland 2easy 2parry)

At least I assume 30 lcuk 18/18/18/18 is for the BBS (or really it is and there's literally no other option.)

I am ROLLING in grass. this high luck early on is pretty neat.

Sorry wyrm I started before you posted The Moonlight build. But I may give it a go And amazingly I'm not looking to pvp this time around I just wanna run around Boletaria and enjoy the scenery

Yeah high luck stat kicks as especially on pure black, you get rare items from regular enemies like crazy.
But yeah the build i mentioned is intended for the BBS wich for the record is the most awsome sword in the game imo...
