Which is more fun? Invading, or dueling?

I must say, of all it's invading for me. Slaughtering my enemy by any means nessisary and make sure they know.... That they are dead . I was killing this newer player this morning with a Black Knight Greataxe, full giants and a Greatshield of Artorias right before I went to school. It was so much fun, he summoned his equally housewive buddy and I was running back to the very pain in the *** monsters in the new DLC (you know which i'm talking about if you've played it ) and I just kept killing his buddy and him and every time I would put on the child's mask and send "Welcome to Dark Souls" . This was a great morning indeed.

they're both just as fun, if you duel you will get bored eventually then move to invading which will get boriing too and just keep switching back and forth.

Aim for a balance.

Really? All of you think this lol. I find all invasions boring except the very very few you get lucky (like this one for me) but 99% of them bore me because it's just a simple kill (or quick death. )

An invasion is what you make of it. If you go in to dominate, that's all you get out of it. Easy kill. The majority of the time I'm goofing around in invasions. I'm not even invading to kill really, it's mostly just to have a good time doing something different. I get killed 'cause I'm farting around during invasions all the time. Doesn't matter. I'm still laughing.

My main goal is to launch people into the air when I invade, and if they're in heavy armor I just want to piss them off so bad that they send hate mail . Not really sure what else there could be to make invasions funny, unless it's like that "Lordran Terrorist" vid from Sansveidotcom

Stuff like that is hilarious. Just get creative. Invasions give you the room to try things you can't really get away with in duels because the majority of the time they wont be sitting at the spawn waiting for you to show up. Sometimes I'll Chameleon as a pot or something and then pop out with a "Well, What Is It" as they walk by. That sh*t is funny. It's like ".......BOO!" HAHAHAH. Gets me everytime. Or I'll sit in front of the bossfog in the Cats with nothing but a shield, then I turtle in front of them and kick 'em if they try to get by until the Bonewheels catch up. Try not to laugh while doing that stuff.

Sounds like some interesting stuff. I'll try it, I guess i've just never tried letting an invasion end without a free humanity .

At this point in the game, I don't care about winning anymore. Even in duels. Last night I was f*ckin' around in the Burg. Made a sl100 BK cosplay, except it had hav's gaunts and the wolf ring for 108 poise and I had ALL the BK weapons equipped at the same time so I was fatrolling. Didn't even come close to killing anyone, but just flopping around like that had me dying. I'd just wander around the arena tapping block with the BK sword in my offhand and doing belly flops.

Lol, eh, I like to win but I don't like making super optimal builds. I like my fat roll gough build with an unupgraded caestus as it's melee weapon =D

Invasions are where it's at for me. I play an assassin type character in blightown with the shadow set, ring of fog, hornets ring, poison arrows, poison darts, a dagger and a painting Gaurdian sword with no Sheild.

I invade in upper blightown and follow them around, get in some poison arrows or darts when I'm close but as soon as I let off an attack I book it and hide for a little and do they same thing. When I can I get plunging attacks it makes me really feel like an assassin. So far it's may favorite way to pvp. I get really bad hate mail. Especially when I bs them when they think they are safe. God it's fun

Last time I played dark souls I was invading and dancing off cliffs with the trident dance lol

I'm here for your indictments.

I normally just screw around or try to come up with a creative way with killing someone. Best place for me to do that is at Sen's Fortress. I just played ghost for a couple of minutes and picked him off with a broken straight sword +10.

I also invade a lot with only Smough's headpiece on and the dragon greatsword. I never win with that set.

I also wanted to do something like that. Just the dragon weapons and 32(?) Str. Everything else base. Especially with all the narrow walkways. God that sounds like fun.

I mix both and they're fun.

I have always been a vader 1st...these forum guys got me 'dueling'

I mostly like to vade areas were I can kick people of sh!t...I dunno why but I find it the funniest...then do a plung attack at them while they are dead....or its even better if they land alive then I can hit them with a finish plunge

Timing the catacombs vamos plunge so they get the cutscene then me plunging my barbed sword into there head never gets old either
