Does anyone else just use the dragon head stone with armor like me or do all you dragon form users use the torso stone all the time?

Re: Dragon Form
sadly whenever i see the dragon head+ armor combo they use the glitch to fire bombs at me. before the glitch was found i used to see that style all the time, but now...

Re: Dragon Form
I have tried being a Dragonbro and as fun as it is, to roleplay, I cant find anything to make it worth using the head only.
I have tried REALLY REALLY hard but it comes out to a lose lose for me. I would love to see this thread turn into a list of reasons I cant seem to find out solo.

The head is pretty worthless, the masks are so much better. I use both because the torso rocks.

Re: Dragon Form
Well, aside from maintaining decent amount of defenses and the dragon fire attack, the dragon body is one of the few self buffs that doesn't null out any other self buff. So for players with PW, the roar is really the only benefit they'd look into if any for the dragon stones. Now, I'm curious about something. Why has no one tried using a PW+roar buffed dragon breath attack? Picture the damage it would do.

Re: Dragon Form
I always use both head and body or neither at all. Its not a matter of function but rather I can never find an armor set aesthetically pleasing when paired with the awkward length of the dragon head.

Ornstein set. My Kids told me it looked good, and who am I to argue with a child's sense of imagination?

It looks good with the PG set. But only if in someone else's world.

Well, the way its worked out for me is that i've used the much heavier armor on my body, arms and legs to combat the fact I have no helm. I'm just hoping that when i go to +3 the damage from the firebreath is worth it. At the moment im just using it to destroy peoples stamina when they block it and to cause mass confusion as I pop out of big yellow fire graphics afterwards

Re: Dragon Form
Dragon Head's damage it's worthless. Ranking up in the covenant increases it's damage though, but it's still worthless. But I think that at +3, and with Red Tearstone Ring, it may do some decent damage in PvP.
Now, I've fought a guy using it at level 5 and it's damage it's certainly useful. He did a very good damage to me. Sad thing it's that leaves you without stamina.

Considering its one of the only abilities that recharge away from bonfires the lesser damage is acceptable. I never expect it to do as much as ANY spell.
Also like you said it leaves you without stamina, with Crest shield, Cloranthy ring and green crest munched it zooms up pretty quick
Also, one press of x as opposed to holding it shoots a burst of fire which drains no stamina at all!
