I don't use too many different "builds" in PVP. I normally just make a DEX-based build and weapon hop whenever I get bored of a weapon. Normally, only a couple of days after I switch weapons (normally when I adjust to it), I start performing much better than I ever did with the previous weapon I was using. But after a week or two I either get bored of the weapon or just start performing terribly.
I have a couple theories on why this is so.
1-I am using better weapons I out if sheer luck. I am choosing weapons better suited for my playstyle.
2-I am adjusting to other builds. I will go through a few fights thinking I needed more range, for example and adjust weapons accordingly.
3-I am just getting better from trying new things and learning from my mistakes. I've only been dueling for about a month but I can keep up with, or beat, people at the top if the Book of the Guilty at times when other times I lose to others I know I should probably beat.
I would like to hear everyone's opinions and thoughts on what the case may be, and does anyone else feel the same?
