Yeah... I think he meant Kings Field , that definitely had that stupid and ridiculous secret.Spurgun wrote:ViralEnsign_ wrote:Well DeS had walls you had to hit 200 times.... why not 200 attempts at Dragon Slaying.....

Re: Killing the everlasting dragon!!
Hey, after reading this I tested a few things on the Everlasting Dragon myself today. I figured that there may be something of a Smaug reference between the dragons. While I certainly did not one-shot it with a strike to the left breast, I did discover that he can be damaged by arrows-albeit, I was only doing 50-57 damage a shot and I've heard that the dragons can regenerate hp, so I don't know if that's fast enough to actually damage it. Other than that, I hadn't heard/read anywhere that he even COULD be harmed, regardless of how much. Nothing else I did was even able to scratch him .(spells, pyromancy, melee weapons, etc.) Perhaps, similar to the King's Field hidden door, he can only be killed by arrows. (and will require a huge number of them at a very high SL?)

With the PC version, guys found the Elite Cleric Armor and a Miracle coded, but disabled... Why those guys haven't found the secret of the Pendant and Everlasting Dragon yet?
:B
Hackers... How do they work?

I found that I actually can hit it with melee weapons at the stump of it's tail. While it takes damage, it seems to never die.
And as for the pendant-it may be that the information was never included, or possibly may need a later update or will require another piece of downloadable content at a later date. While that sounds out-of-character for FromSoft, it is possible.

He probably just modded his hp. :|
As for the pendant, perhaps they release information on it once Dark Souls ''die'', or the next game is released. Though i'm kind of believing it's just there to extend our curiousity and keep our creativity alive.

Re: Killing the everlasting dragon!!
Hm, an idea that has merit suggesting it would work is using the Lifehunt Scythe on it. Priscilla is said to be "anathema to all life."

Good luck trying to kill with that scythe. You'll bleed out yourself before you even scratch the ED.

well, I still want to try my original theory. Is there anyone with a character around SL150? I have a lot of slabs if anyone wants some of those.

I couldn't think of a good way to phrase it really, since my phone does NOT type well on these forums. What I meant to say was more along the lines of, "Hey, this is crazy yet fitting enough that if anything were to work, it could be this." Personally, I don't think its possible, but I thought of the idea so I decided to share it.
