Black Bow of Pharis

So I was trying to get the bow in the forest and while fighting Pharis shes ran away from me and fell off a cliff... Haha. Do I have to wait for the next play-through to get it?

Quiting and reloading my work, not sure. Why couldn't they have given her the 'you get drops when they die' thing that the non kiln knights and other rare enemies have?

Did't work. Soooo I guess I have to wait... LAME.

Is Pharis a guy or a girl?

Very. I suggest next time approching from the cliff side, it can be tricky though cause she may run to the left and try to bring the more powerful ent creatures into the fight, but with being able to lock on her now it may be easier to finish her off before that can happen.

I reference them as a girl, I'm pretty sure I'm seeing a blond ponytail with a woman's face. However either the hat/bow maybe both reference Pharis as a guy, or it may be a mistranslation, but this could have been a long time ago and the person with the hat/bow could not be Pharis. Food for thought!

Lol, Patches did the same to me when I attacked him last night in Firelink. He just rolled off of the cliff. A quit/reload worked. His stuff was there in front of me when I came back.

if you quit and then reload, her drops will be in the spot where you orginally saw her (on top of the hill). but if you've already left the game the stuff is probably gone for that playthru.

CrackSouls....what soul level and system? If this was an item you were really looking forward to having I have an extra. If you're a ranger/archer build this is the bow to have. Add Hawk Ring and Feather arrows with this thing +15 and you can get hordes of enemies without being anywhere near aggro range.

Then I messed up somewhere... GAHHH!

Yeah same, I can cover you on xbox, pretty sure I have a spare somewhere, killed her 3 times I should.

Even if you are not an archer it's a beasting bow!

I'm PS3. And it's OK, I'll just use a Chaose Longbow with Fire arrows for now. But thanks guys! I appreciate it

Mmmm, sweet bow. If you have a dex build, and always stay under 25% equip, you can seriously make this bow work for you even on bosses. Lots of dodging, but the damage is fantastic.

In ToG my first time I went shot for shot with the giant skeleton archers. Kind of a "Gotcha last" game with bows and to the death. With this bow I was the ToG undisputed champion (non PvP of course).

Why not PVP? Is awesome to kite tanks!

Store of the damned is great for fixing problem with npc drops just like this. just saying......

Carphil....Why not PvP? Limited playing time and Platinum is my priority #1. After that I will definitely do some PvP.

pharis is defineately a girls, the hats style varys based on gender, for girls ist small and roun for guy's its got the long robin hood -esque rim, pharis has the former so shes a girl also she screams occasionally.

So the heroic archer is not her, she's someone else who took the hat and the bow
