The great search

Well tonight I´m rapping up another toons run
This time I´m finiching up the warrior of sunlight
Because this toon is going to link the fire I´m leaving all the NPC alive
I spend all my embers (got so many rocks that I had to)
Still have all the boss souls and firekeeper souls

When I´m done I want to start a new toon in the Gravelords (100+ eyes)
But I´m still not 100% sure that the set up is right after Acidic shined some light on carim

Bandit / Darkwraith / Dubious Carim / walk away
Thief / Gravelord Servant / Classic Zena / link the fire

thinking that maybe thief and bandit should switch and what starting gift should a gravelord have
And what is the most optimal built for a gravelord

Not sure how you've kept sane. You're doing a ton for this theory and you have a lot of us eagerly waiting for updates.

Oh wel I doing what I like about the game
And that's exploring everything there is wich includes working down all the covenants
So that a won't miss anything that game has to offer
And playing like this with different toon and covenants you have to find some secrets
i haven't found enough
Just found out that the server discryption changes when upgraded to chaos

this is pretty much a shot in the dark but, there are also nine locations you can teleport to with the lordvessel. firelink shrine, sunlight alter, anor londo, chamber of the princess, darkmoon tomb, tomb of the gravelord, daughter of chaos, stone dragon, abyss. maybe a specific event have to be triggered within each of these locations, and maybe in the right order, for the braziers to be lit. but its just a thought^^

Yeah I noticed that I all seems to much of a coincedance to me

Also there is nine merchants, it takes nine shards of any kind to upgrade a weapon from 0 - 5 5 - 10 10 - 15. nine starting items, including nothing. hmm anyone tried to get to new game +++++++++? maybe with nine pendants? would be worth the shot.

also nine unique boss souls. nine is repeated way to many times for anything to be a coincidence. oh! on the nine play thoughs maybe you have to be in each of the 9 difference covenants when you compleat each play thoughs?

9 is the number of completion in various religions. The complete number, ending the cycle of single digits/decimals and all that

I'm not starting the gravelord run but the pricess guard, this of I'm still not shure what setup to use

Still need you're opinion on the gravelords, cause I want to use this one for PVP lvl 120

Hey, just wanted to say you're awesome. Can someone tell me how to +his rep?
I just wanted to say that I think it makes more sense to go through the 9 cov, 9 this, 9 that, all on the same character, using newgame+.
I think this because there are few games that will put you in reset mode after beating the game. Some will refresh everything or let you continue roaming (no missions left).
I feel as if the EXISTENCE of newgame+ implies a reincarnation of your character. As if they wake up with all their gear in an alternate universe and don't remember who/where they are etc... That would explain the lack of backstory.

Now of course, this is where the pendant comes in. you need the pendant to remind you of your past lives, and assuming you do everything rigth, A brazier will be lit. Assuming you can go through the whole way to newgame+++++++++ doing evrythign perfectly. you will eventually... open that big door thingy??

I think you've done everything rigth, except the fact that you restart a new character every time. The issue is that each of those characters don't have fond memories to look back on.

I'm really sorry to be that guy who complains and writes a big-*** block of text. I just had to say this.

Hey....just wondering, but has anyone done a run where you never reversed your hollowing...like, at all? I was thinking about doing it on one of my pendant chars (just to see, ya know? lol) but i have NO idea how to do a speed run, so i decided not to spend 6-8 hours on another playthrough and just go ahead and ask if its been done.

There have been runs of never sitting at a bonfire, so yeah.

Well crap. I dont have XBL yet, and have already played through the game abut 8 times lol, so i really dont have much better to do than try to look for secret stuff. Is there anything that HASNT been tried?

Running through the game never walking forward, going through the game never personally attacking, running through the game with the TV off at all times, etc.

All the reasonable (and several insane) theories have been tried, to the best of my knowledge.

I believe NPC's have something to do with this. The two guys who said they saw the lit blaziers said they had killed almost all NPC's. Maybe its coincidental.

I usually kill all NPC's before the end of my games and nope, nothing.

Been talked about, not been done if I remember correctly. Though I think people have been cursed when they finish the game.

Wait two guys claim to have lit the braziers now?

I only knew of one guy who "lit them/thought he'd seen them/imagined he saw them./lied"

Are more popping up?

Billy saw them but he reckons it was just a graphical glitch. Then another guy said he saw them but didnt realise they were important so didnt photo it.

Hmm i hope its true but i think theres a trend of grandiose attention seeking statements backed with "hold on ill just go prove it" followed days later by a retraction and an apology.

"Oh the secret ending cinematic? Oh man, it must have been a render glitch. Shucks you must think im such a liar but trust me, it was just a really peculiar and unfathomably specific lighting glitch that happened to me and nobody else"

The ones who claimed to have seen the lit braziers both admitted to killing a majority of the NPCs in the game. Maybe it functions in sort of a world tendency matter reminiscent to demons' souls? Maybe completing through the game in a way that could be considered pure white or pure black would have some sort of effect on the world going into NG?

Most likely not, but just brain storming from what i've read.

Most people kill all the NPCs at the end of the game.

I need a bad @ss build here cause I'm planing this on to use this one to help the forrest hunters
with some black phantoms

speaking of black phantoms
for some reason I have BP's in anor londo and I love it never have seen them before and they kick some serious @ss
Also never saw the message of the gravelord and after that I stopt playing and started again they were still there
