So I went to the hospital again today. Don't know if you guys remember me saying that I've been having some health problems, and evidently I've lost close to 30 pounds since the last time I was at the hospital at the end of April. It'd be really nice if they'd figure out what's wrong with me already.

Are you eating/working out the same way you did before your last checkup?

I hate to say it, and I'm not trying to rude or wierd, but tapeworms can do that.

I haven't had my normal appetite because I've been so sick, but I haven't been eating so little to accommodate 30 pounds. My doctor thinks it might be a combination of a hernia, which I've had for a few weeks now, and have just been waiting till they can schedule me for surgery, and she thinks a thyroid problem. It runs in my family, and I guess it can cause all kinds of wacky things.

Oh wow, I hope they figure out soon Plastic. I'd really like to know that you're getting better.

So would I. I'm under an insane amount of stress right now too, with finals, term papers, my senior thesis, and a move coming up, and I'm so ill that I haven't really been able to handle any of it the way I normally would, which is causing even more stress and anxiety, which is just not helping at all

Also, Xanax did wonders for my anxiety.

Recovering opiate addicts and benzos don't mix very well. It's not regular anxiety, just anxiety as a consequence of my not being able to keep up with all this important s*** I need to do, and knowing I have to move out of a third floor apartment in a couple weeks with a hernia.

Been there bro, I feel for you. I've never had a hernia, but I've had back problems ever since wrestling in high school.

I hired movers last time, expensive as he|| though. :x

I've been throwing the notion around. How much was it ballpark? I've got a relatively small place, and I'm only moving across town.

About $250. And I have a wife, 2 kids, and a looooot of shyt.

BUT, I had everything packed and ready as well.

The company was "Here to There Movers".

They charged a standard fee, and then additional "by the hour" type of stuff...hence the ready and packed.

They are also insured, and wrapped everything in blankets and bubble paper for the delicates, tv, china cabinet, etc.

I'd recommend them to anyone. I believe they are nation wide.

$250 total? I'm assuming that's US currency too? I'm by myself in a 1 bedroom, and I'd planned on doing the packing myself. I'm moving like 4 or 5 city sized blocks. Not very far at all.
