I had a good run, there was a while where a few Red Phantoms were all invading, but the ones with crap play styles got banned listed and were never seen again. Got another good round of SOV's towards the end. It really is amazing the number of noobs that run right for you without pleasantries and just hack away with a lighting weapon. Easy cannon fodder, but still.
This character has no indictments, so every single SOV was a potential eye of death. I was able to collect +15 eyes after all was said and done (wins-losses). It also seems to confirm my suspicion that indictments DO NOT carry over to different characters like someone else on these forums thought. A few of my other characters have been indicted, and do get random darkmoon sov's.
Love when I'd get a SOV and a Red invasion really close together, and one of them realized they could kill the other. Happened quite a few times.
My boss fog to Taurus was up, and at the begginning and then the end I was also able to see others Gravelord signs, even as my eye was active. My world was not infected, and no message of being so though. A few times "Disasters are gone, Gravelord killed" message popped up too, even though I was not infected with black phantoms.
I asked and the invasion parameters seem to be within the SL +/-10 + 10%. At SL15 that SL4-26. No one said they saw any red phantoms or anything unusual in their world.
Depths is hard because all the areas you want to PVP in are far away from any checkpoint. Moving around is never a good idea if you want to be invaded too, and down there there's three distinct "areas". Best places to sit and wait are right before the boss fog, right in the bonfire chamber, and probably right at the first steps leading down to the depths from under-burg.
I had been farming depths for eyes and noticed people only tended to invade when I left myself standing at the bonfire.
