Chrono Cross is the greatest fantasy RPG I've ever played.

Mmm, I wish I were playing it right now.

guys, guys, guys... teens and twens talking ´bout the past (no offence). i´m turning 40 shortly and do also remember a 64. but it was a commodore 64. you had to load your games via a "datasette" which could easily take an hour or more. for "winter games" and the like! that was in the 80s. then the legendary amiga 500, then the good old sega. i bought my first ps3 when i was 36 and was really blown away by the development. i love it. keeps me young.

that was off topic. excuse me please!

    I kid, of course.

You are enjoyable to poke at, it is true. And the pictures you had before makes you look more than half-good. Just to clarify, before the steam rolls towards my doorstep.

By the way, nice serious. You have finally spammed enough to reach Nexus. You are a true Gravelord silly

When I read it I thought it meant black white tendency run. Not sure how that would work though.

I mean world tendency, sorry, go through all of the worlds in offline (so that tendency doesnt shift) without returning to the nexus with them in pure black.

Don't think of them as mega monsters, think of it as perma-gravelord. Actually bonus points if you have the patience to change the world black after reloading the game in online, but I dont think there are many invaders anymore. least of all in world 3 and 5.

?? not sure i get you but..

You mean going through levels offline and going:

World 1-1,1-2,2-1,2-2,2-3,3-1,3-2... etc? while first making the worlds pure black? I dunno how you could without a stock of emphiral eye stones..

Sorry, I guess I am speaking a bit of jargon and nonsense haha.

When you get a area to pure black/white tendency and log off the servers reset your WT (world tend) to what the average is online. Also, if you beat a boss or a primeval demon, or an NPC and switch back to the nexus the WT shifts too.

So a Black WT run would mean you have to do consecutive 1-1 1-2, leave use souls (unless in NG+ where I think you can go straight on through to 1-3 and 1-4) then the next world to completion, leave to nexus use souls. rinse lather.

Problem being that it takes about 7 ephermal (uh) stones to get Pure black. IF, you use NG+ though you should have about 21 stones through regular play.. And you can pick up about 3-4 in most levels.

Hope that clears what I am saying up..

EDIT: also, if you do level 5 first the lady merchant their sells stones as you use them, at a high cost.. but again black world= more souls.. and if you're in NG thats even more ... more souls.

    hmmm sounds interesting.

I might do that once I know the levels better, and know my way around equipment upgrade system armours and stuff.. First I'll finish my playthrough with my new mage first though..

And is the average tendency why the shrine of storms seems to have darker stone on it than all the others?
