I lied, this changes things: now you can think you are killing both babies and tortured souls, the joy you will feel can't be described with human words.

And if you get killed by them, you can think: "Oh my god, I just got beat by a baby."

So, the electric damage isn't actually the banshees. . . but your character being shocked by the babies cuteness????

Chiz, you really need to read Acidic's Search for Lore sometime.

I certainly never noticed that before. Just adds to the harshness of the whole area. It makes sense though. I mean if a whole city were flooded everyone would die. Including babies.

I'd also agree with you're second statement. I think the Maiden Astrea area in DeS is probably atmospherically my favorite area in any of the souls games. The whole thing is just flawless. From the music, to the enemy design, to Garl Vinland's AI standing sentinel at the end of the bridge. It's such a great area.

I haven't been there in a long time. I'm not interested anymore on Lore, I pretty much know all the facts, the rest are just theories.

Well, this is an old bit of information that is in there, others noticed as well I'm afraid.

but was everyone in new londo women and children?.... the ghost are only female...

or maybe the undeads at the beginning are the men who flew away from the flood, they went insane because they didn't save their children or women and are now tortured hollows for all eternity (hence why they seem like they are begging for forgiveness)

^The Darkwraiths strike me as being male also, but it's difficult to tell with that armor. I don't think it changes visually much between sexes. There are also those big amorphous blob things. Those could maybe be the men. Or at least some of them.
