I tried to do it but as soon as I defeated capra demon I went to depths and forgot to talk to her first. She went to the Catacombs. When I got the rite I didn't kill Patches, I told him I was a cleric. I cross the bridge as fast as I could and he didn't kill me. Does Reah says something different in you have the rite, or do they still go and search for it?

I have talked to her when she first comes to the world, by the brown cleric, with the Rite of Kindling a good amount of times (4, 5, i've lost count). it wasn;t even in NG+, but NG, so... nothing happens. Sorry dude.
