Does anyone still play Demon's Souls online?

I haven't played Demon's in a while, I've been playing Dark, but Demon's
is still amazing imo, and in a lot of ways, I think its actually a
little better than Dark Souls.

I haven't seen any soul signs lately, and when I put my soul sign down, I never get summoned. I think a lot of people are playing Dark Souls now.

What server will you be on? (It depends on the region of the game you have)

Anyway there's still PvP going on but it's pretty much all hardcore veterans with 1000s of hourse under their belts. If you're good at Dark Souls PvP I'm sure you'll be fine when you make adjustments for certain things e.g. no poise (apart from certain weapon swings), armour really doesn't matter much and even a shield is less useful a lot of time.

Organise co-op with a friend or someone on here to avoid waiting around. There's always people on playing - you just have to get in contact with them somehow to play together.

i never stopped playing tbh, but in the last year or so i've seen no summons, no invasions, only a couple of msgs here and there.

maybe here in EU is worse than rest of the world?

dunno, but I always play online and in human form but nothing, zip!

I've been playing a bit and have been summoned a few times. I'm in the US.

Stopped playing DkS about 2 wks ago, picked up DS again and made it to endgame fight. Whoop. Whole time online, at sl55-57 had trouble finding any summon signs for flame lurker and pretty much all bosses. Yet, I saw tons of white phantoms roaming. No invasions. Not at all like DkS where you get invaded at pretty much any level and co-op is also a broad range of sl. Clearly the White phantoms show that there are people playing. I'm not sure what sl is Average though.
For Tuesday I picked up a sl9 and defeated 1-1 to get blue eye stone. Got invaded on first co-op but jus as I died to the invader , a network unstable message popped up. Co-op again, defeated TK, got human, leveled to sl14. Played till 1 am, no other invasions, even on my own guy, while trying to find a sign. I get summoned 1-2, but didn't see signs when trying to summon.

Seems to me, servers are just as bad as the DkS P2P system.

I'm thinking everybody playing is either low level. Or very high level. Therefore to interact online level slowly?

Demons was always better for invasions and summons then dark. But i can't speak for it as of late. Maybe an issue with people using the digital copy, or a sudden surge on the server.? I'm not techy enough to know, but i do know it USED to be great. I never remember failed summoning messages or failed invasion time outs.

I'll be on later tonight. If anyone wants to co-op msg me and i'll build a character to match what you have.

Odinbear, dont you have to beat the 1-1 boss to get acess to lvl up?
I just started playing a week ago, so odds are that I might be totally wrong

Did that. You have to beat 1-1 alone. Tedious but fairly ez.

I think I misunderstood you first, thought you ment that you lvled to sl9 and then ended 1-1. Didnt get that it was your start sl.

Character was a hunter, unsure if he was actual 9. ( maybe 7). My other new char is 6 , I don't think 1-1 is cleared with him.

I've done 1-1 with a Wanderer and with a Knight, so far no problems. Just with Old king Doran :')

The king is a *****. My sl60 still has not beaten him and that char is at endgame.

Wish I had an PS3 to play Demon Souls....so far I have only watched walkthroughs of it... im really curious about its pvp, I heard people saying its better, that dual wielding is viable, along with magic and bows... is it true?
