What is your str?
I don't know the answer either way, but i know that str makes the dark magic stronger.

base, im doing a bit of a troll build really and being able to use a shotgun at 16 int made it a must have ahahah

With the Oolacile Catalyst, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, and Dusk Crown, you're looking at about 1150 damage per shotgun blast, and about 390 per dark orb.

349 per bead (Around 2000) and 578 (Orb) if you have OIC, Crown of Dusk and BDCR with 16 STR. This is the equivalent of an unbuffed TCC at 44 INT. Clearly, no one read my thread.
In this case, your listing these as minimal damage?With the Oolacile Catalyst, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, and Dusk Crown,
you're looking at about 1150 damage per shotgun blast, and about 390 per
dark orb.
