Back Lot Basher wrote:So, I've read the basics about the Gravelord covenant, but there are a couple of things I'd like to know. It has to be in a world where I haven't beaten the boss, so after I drop the Eye, does it take long for the effect to begin in the other person's world? I assume I have to wait in mine while this happens...
I also wondered, can I drop a stone when I have someone summoned with me? If it happens in a world where the host already has someone summoned, can he bring them in with him/her?
Is there anything else I need to know about participating in this covenant?
I just assume that it takes as long as other signs to appear. It really depends on network connection.
If you have a phantom of any kind you cannot drop an Eye of Death.
Here are some other tips.
Tips
The gravelord sign moves with you please make sure you hang out at the
places that are high traffic areas. Not in a room off to the side. If you have a preferred battle spot move there after you get the message that a spirit of vengeance has invaded.
Your area boss needs to be alive in order for you to become eligible for
invasion and curse.
You can use the bonfire as much as you want. The only way you loose the Eye
of Death effect is if you homeward bone or spell homeward or quit and
reload or of course die. Also warping between bonefires will cause you to
loose the eye of death effect and you will need to use a new EoD
If you are not getting fog gates or bonefires that turn off you might have
a network issue. Quit the game and reload spend an eye. Also helpfull if
you keep getting the same invader and what to change opponent.
If you see a gravelord sign look around for BP before invading if you want
to invade the gravelord. If you do and have extra eyes of death ask the
gravelord you invaded if he is running low.
If you are not getting invasions it might be because of your level so try a
different area depending on your sl
