That sucks. Don't you have a back-up?

When I thought I lost mine the other day I was able to turn to my back-up.

Ah, that sucks balls Spurgun I'm glad my current pair has lasted me so long, 6 years and counting. Good old Oakley's, titanium frame with transition lenses, cost my parents quite some Good thing my eyesight didn't deteriorate by much at all.

And yeah, backups are always handy in case they break

You guys reminded me to get a backup pair in case I lose mine. Things are strudy though, saved me form getting a black eye last year from some wierd student. Hey densetsushun can titanium frames withstand a 816 page physics book to the face? A friend of mine hit himself with one out of rage from me and some others messing with him. Didn't even flinch from it.

They're pretty sturdy, but I'm not sure your face would be able to withstand a titanium frame being pushed into it with the force of an 816 page physics book

Seriously, glasses just don't go with my hair at all, long hair + glasses just doesn't look right unless they're hippy glasses... which frankly don't suit me at all...

I feel glasses are an integral part of keeping my hair out of my face.

Edit: On the topic of glasses, does anyone have that problem where one's glasses tend to slide off one's face when looking down?

I look better with glasses anyway and contacts would likely irritate my eyes.

Trust me, contacts don't irritate your eyes, your eyes desensitise to them after a few minutes when you first get them, and after you have them for a couple months, it's like your eyesight got fixed in the space of 5 seconds.

Some people do look good with glasses though, can really make someone look awesome

Unfortunately those are the ones who wear non prescription glasses

Oh lol, I probably used the wrong term there, never mind me What I meant to say was that most who look good wearing glasses don't need them at all.

I can't do contacts. I've tried multiple times for months at a time but I could not stand the irritation. My contacts had to be special ordered because how bad my astigmatism is, causing them to be very thin and flimsy. They didn't bother me until they tore, but it happened too often because of either the fragileness of the contacts or my lack of care. Either way, I had to stop because the irritation from the torn contacts would lead to permanent damage to my eyes.

I haven't looked back; glasses are much less trouble in my opinion.

I think I broke my Tv, I start to get back in the game and then this happens.

I just want to die sometimes. It makes me hate myself when the one thing I have left stops helping me. It makes me feel so weak and useless.

I lost a lot of blood today and I've eatn little. I feel like Im dying.

Did this happen in your home or did you make it out to a hospital?

In my home, I got really depressed and stress out. When I get like that it makes me bleed a lot from my surgery site. I was also really sick today and couldn't eat anything, so when I lost all that blood I was on an empty stomach. I literally thought I was going to die in the moment, and got even more emotionally out of control.

I finally got to eat and keep it down, so I'm feeling a little better now.

Holy S*** Tolvo hope you feel better! I was thinking that you had some bad injury but damn man get someone to drive you to a hospital next time you get like that. Also surgery?

I had back surgery near the end of highschool, on and off for years I've been going back for more surgery but it just doesn't seem to be working.

It something with the bones or how you walk?

You're so young, what's this chronic back issue of yours?
