100% and DLC

Hey guys.
I'm going for 100%. I'm just before Gwyn on my second playthrough (not NG+), but I've never done the DLC yet (just about to). But I just got the pyromancy trophy. The wiki says that I still need Black Flame from the DLC... so I'm confused. Do the trophies not actually require the DLC? I'd love to be able to do my first playthrough of the DLC with all surprises, not having to worry about getting items and triggering events... Do you think I won't need the sorceries from DLC as well? It says that I need Dark Bead, Dark Fog, Dark Orb, and Pursuers...

I'm not sure, seeing as the coding for the achievements were made before the DLC it would make sense for you only to have to get the pre DLC sorceries/weapons to 100%.

I had none of the DLC sorceries and I'm 1000/1000

I won't bother then for the DLC
I look forward to surprises. I didn't allow myself to get spoiled for anything in the DLC. I try not to spoil anything before I discover it myself for the most part. In my first playthrough I didn't know how to use estus flasks until halfway through D: I just used the heal miracle (like in Demon's Souls?).

Maybe someone should correct that wiki entry.

Yeah, I got my sorceries trophy too now without DLC. Thanks guys.

Note the spells I mentioned. I guess there are no new miracles in the DLC.

Unfortunately, there are no trophies for the DLC content. It was one of the small things I was disappointed with. :|

Personally, I'm glad.
I played Saints Row 3 extensively, specifically to 100% the game, but there are, like, 20 little DLC packs you have to get and they all contribute to the trophies, which means you have to pay a ton of money to get the platinum. I did everything that I could without DLC and only got, like, 60-80% or something like that. I think that's an extreme example, but it's kind of cheap...

Something you would'nt want to discover on your own, is how painfully hard most of the bosses are.

Please point me to where the wiki gives misinformation. Because everything I see here checks out just fine:

I 100%ed it when there was no DLC, and I went back to 100% it again when Gangstas in Space came out.

I'm by no means a great player though -- I'm always owned when I'm invaded.
Also, I just noticed that I DID get the platinum for Saints Row 3 I was confused because the DLC means that it still says "65%" complete.

No achievements recquire anything from the dlc. Period. You can run through without worry.

Strictly speaking if you're going for 100% you would need to get everything that the game has to offer, and in a lot of cases this would need to be multiple times over, bearing in mind that you would also need to fully upgrading every weapon and piece of armour along the various ascension paths. Good luck with that. Maybe back in the day, but nowadays DkS has taken a bit of a backseat where my gaming is concerned, and I've found myself returning back to games such as AvP, Resistance, and Half Life 2 (well Portal), for some much needed FPS action, whilst I wait for DkS2 to come out.
