I had little success, though I came close a few times. I also showed up a bit late, though, and so didn't have many fights to actually go with :oops:

Based on a couple comments since the event I apparently earned some style points though :silent:

I PvP'd a ton in Demon's Souls under both my PSN Names (TriangleOffense & ExecutionerTri) Then in Dark Souls I have been on again using both names but took a HUGE break from the game due to the awful balancing issues that IMO it had upon release. I played on and off for the year it was out always testing out the new patches to see what was fixed and tweaked but didnt really get too involved again until September of 12 when the DLC was getting ready to drop. I spent a ton of time maximizing and tweaking my builds across both names only to have them crapped on when the DLC hit due to the SL 100 thing.

Now I just get on and protect my forest. Ive been in the forest for somewhere around 1000 hours across my names and will continue to jump on and join in each trend as they come through in hopes that all gankers die. I still PVP alot in the Burg and try to find new places to drop my RSS.

I never got too involved on this forum or the other one for that matter across either game (which I do regret more and more as the games get older) but im here now and Im trying to get as much out of these amazing games as I possibly can.

Like you said I may be somewhat new to both forums but in no way whatsoever am I new to either game. Im always on one or the other (they are literally about all I play) so if anyone ever wants to play or needs help feel free to hit me up.

it was what got me my awesome streak in reims world and it even killed a spearman but it did lose to three other spearmen still it was awesome to use and if ya'll want to spar sometime in dark or demon souls as i play both just meesage me my name is twlightwarwolf

Spear > Katanas and Curved Swords

The range advantage is too important in these fights.

EVERYONE went with Chaos, and lighting (boooooring), so I said "*** it" and used my Spear

Oh and yeah Tri, I have no idea where or when we met, but we are friends on PSN from a long time lol

Spears also take advantage of lag so much. Anyways... These comments have made me rethink my build. If I participate in the next event--whenever that ends up being--I'll try to bring something interesting and original! (I have something pretty good in mind right now, actually. )

Too bad every time I tried invading with my SL170 DMB, or my SL20 DW, it brought me to some scrub's world instead :'c

Yeah too bad...kappa.

A couple of randoms on Xbox invaded and wound up asking about the event.

One guy kind of just stayed in one of the host's world for over an hour just spectating fights.

Maybe you should try making a level appropriate character next time and lay down your RSS like everybody else?

My host didn't have sin, yet I got invaded by DM's for some reason. I remember once in particular which I killed in a very funny way. Chiz went to go deal with him as I was summoning someone, I turn around to see Chiz being backstabbed by an Ornstein Cosplay that was waiting to push him down the ladder when he got up. So I ran up and backstabbed him onto the ladder, then as he got up he tried to roll away so I kicked him.

Death by gravity.

I believe that sin is linked to the whole account,not just the character so if you sinned with another toon,your host'll still have to pay for the sin

Yeah I remember that, I was actually waving at him, I thought he was going to play nice lol, after he backstabed me I dodged away and you came and pushed him lol

Tolvo, wasn't that build made with a BB glitched toon? I think BB glitch carries sin.

I almost didn't use GC at all lol

I only flat out won 1-2 fights, but I think I ended up with like 3-4 double kills, all of which were great fun

I enjoyed my time in the event very much so. I tried to balance my use of 45 dex spears, katanas, and tracers with the fact that I only wore leggings in all of my matches

I will admit, pvp with 1000 hp is tough, but GGs to everyone I met. We need to do it again sometime! 8)

Thanks again for everyone that showed up and participated. It sounds like this was a success. We will keep an eye on the new thread of ideas for the next event. I will unsticky this now.

Oh, and having over 50 people sign up including the hosts was amazing and awesome!
