Should I make one of my weapons Elemental?

My build

I've got the stats to make hitting with them very deadly, but I fear about only doing Physical damage. Should I turn the whip at least into a Lightning weapon or something similar?

I don't think that having only phisical damage may be a problem.

You have there fire and phisical. Phisical is effective in any situation. No matter how much phisical armor they stack, with those stats phisical will still do more damage than any elemental weapon.

True, thanks. I was just worried about running into a Giant with RoSP. All that armor...

all the stats tend to be too balanced on armor. which tends to mean that split damage will always be inferior (nearly always)

Elementals are weaker, even against high physical defense armor like Giant's. The only case where eles might be comparable to regular weapons are when the opponent is naked or a dragon. Then the split damage doesn't hurt the weapon as much.

Never used to be the case I'm so glad they patched that at least. pre 1.05 it was go elemental or go home.

It's not so bad, I have the Cloranthy ring for my stamina and I'm mostly focused upon getting on top of someone and staying there, so Rolling isn't usually something I use alot. I am going to miss my sheild, as I just can't carry it along with the weapons



Though maybe if I try havel's instead of RoFaP.....
