It's not that good... not worth IMO considering there are better games to play, even with lots of money, it would be time wasted.

No many good games in that genre besides those.
Journey is a great adventure/experimental game. No action though.

Well I recommend you the Shadow of the Collosus HD edition, it's an awesome game. I didn't played the Mortal Kombat Kollection but I heard it has lots of online problems, and man, that's a far shot from Action/Adventure games lol

I actually liked the Darkness 2 quite a bit, but if your looking for a game that offers a lot of gameplay there are better options.
The singleplayer is actually pretty good but the story can be completed in around 5-6 hours. The co-op can be completed in around an hour and a half. There are also collectables in the game that you can find that actually add to the lore and backstory behind the Darkness and the Darkness 2.
It's just kind of short compared to the original in which you could sit down and watch the whole entire To Kill a Mockingbird movie.
I'd recommend Just Cause 2 if you want a good open-world game with a lot of action.
