Depends on the upgrade level of the Claymore.
Mugen does only +15, which would be OP in all pre Anor Londo locations. If it's +5, +10, or Raw +5, then it's perfectly acceptable (still depends on your area).

All this OP stuff is mostly refering to situations, where people use elemental weapons, fully upgraded Pyromancies and Dark Bead in areas like Parish. It does make the game a lot easier, but it also ruins the game for new players, or guys like me, who enjoy the game's challenging difficulty.

Of course, it's best to be able to use aproperiate and OP equipment at the same time, for cases when you get summoned to NG+, get invaded, when the host is using OP himself and when the host is a seasoned player and asks, or wants to get through the current location asap.

The clay will be upgraded to Raw+5, I just need to get the large ember and the composite bow. Might think about alternative OP equips just for the sake of fighting low level griefers, got bombarded by a fire surge spamming ninja while running through the Parish with this guy. Would've gotten him if I didn't mid-roll into his surge

Oh, forgot to add other details. My PSN-ID is the same as my forum handle, I have the DLC and I'm on pretty much 24/7(for now) except between 7/8PM ish till 10AM ish GMT+1(that's about 1/2PM to 4AM EST). Times may vary as I'm on and off depending on what I have going on during the day, but I hermit often enough for that not to matter much.

It has 16 Str, so you can use Black Knight Shield to make short work of Burg and Parish Pyro spammers. Let them waste their casts on your shield and crush them. Even Raw +5 Claymore does decent damage on this SL.

I was hoping I could get the BK shield but it just would't drop, if you have one around somewhere it would be greatly appreciated. I also tweaked the build a tiny bit by adding one point into dex so I can Gravelord Sword some griefers.

Unless you want to make the build reach a very specific SL for events and FC it's no problem. I also think that it's no problem to overlook 1 extra point in FC and such.

I know, I tried joining your Knights of Ash, but I got only one request in the whole time I was there, while in here, they keep piling up so much that I don't know what to do first.

SL 106: pure dex build, curved swords and daggers
SL 99: pure int build, sorceries (can also switch to pyro)
SL 66: pure dex build, curved swords and daggers
SL 60: quality (str+dex) build, cosplay as Ornstein but also use swords
Also working on a str+faith build (miracles), SL 40 for now but will go up

I'm glad to fight in all areas of the game but my best areas are Anor Londo, New Londo Ruins, and The Duke's Archives.
