    This spear is awful. What was I thinking. NG+ Spaghetti and Meatball impossible to kill 76 damage per poke yeahhhh

    Huh? You hit pretty hard at that level with that spear. Your problem is all those points into faith. Why do you need the faith? Just transfer it to str and dex.

    2 attunment slots of WoG, 28 faith is the right number

    You should be hitting harder than 76, and besides, its advantage is untouchably long range, you'd win most fights even if you did 10 damage a poke. I've used it at this level with 20/16, and I've gotten hits of over 240 damage on other players with the Leo ring. You don't need that much poise when you use a spear.

    For S&O, they have high lightning defense. That spear has a lot of its AR as lightning. So, they will be further immune to its damage.

    I know I just need to vent, that fight took FOREVER because of Ornstien's super lightning def and I needed to kill him first to be able to lightning spear Super Smough

    The build in PvP in absurd you just poke and punish agression with WoGs,

    I think this thread belongs in general. It's a pve reference which seems to be what is generating the confusion. OP is only griping about ds weakness vs S&O.

    Good move Murgence. The gripe came about while making a vader build so like most my pvp builds I default posted in pvp.

    Love the 2H R2 on it btw, epically long windup but it looks great. It you account for the timing it's great in tight spaces/bridges. Now that i think about it, I wonder about its application for wakeup.
