New Gwyn Record???

I just got done beating Gwyn on my mage character in what I believe to be a new record time: under 10 seconds.

I have 50 int and 45 dex with the crown of dusk, and bellowing dragoncrest ring, using the izalith catalyst. I shot him once with Pursuers and twice with Dark Bead. This killed him in under 10 seconds.

So is this a new record?

Also, this is not the build that I have in the signature section, so dont bother viewing it. This character was much lower of a level and magic based.

Was it faster than this?

^^ Considering the complexity of this guys setup, I would think my way was faster. I simply ran right into the bass door and blasted magic. I didnt even try to worry about making my weapons stronger. But kudos to that guy (or you if that was you).

Naah, wasn't me. I've seen more though. Like a sorcerer with red tearstone, TCC, Manus Catalyst, high int and str, dusk crown, BDCR, doing over 6k damage in a single dark beads cast. Not sure if I've seen them kill Gwyn with it though. They did a lot of bosses.

The video looks...slow, is he using speedhack?

Sounds slow too, so probably deliberately made the video that way.

So it's even faster than 15 seconds. This got me interested in fast kills of bosses.

He actually states in the comments that for some reason while recorded it slows down music and sound effects. But the video played in real time. 12 second kill.

I killed Gwyn in 18 seconds on NG7 with a Dark Bead Spam.

Impressive.

I have killed Manus without even going through the boss fog, does that count? I did spent a while shooting crossbow bolts at him though, for a measly 39-44 (depending on where it hit him) damage per hit, so I guess not

My fastest kill was about 48 seconds. Probably could do it around 20 with a RTSR and power within.
