Well I'm in the Burg now. I had no new invasions and the darkwraiths got bored and the guy with 99 divine blessings had annoyed me out of there. It was the fact he was using me for parry practice which he really needs work in.

Double post but I have to say this.
Well I won't be back till maybe two weekends again but it is almost the end of the school year so I may have more time to be online to see how the game is in action. I trust everything went well in the painted world or wherever you people travel in Lordran as there is a need for a Darkmoon and a Velka messenger just about everywhere. The fencing event will happen and it will prove to be fun and we all get to use rapiers in combat against each other.
As for xbox members who find a potential member please send them to my gt which is: Soris Goldwing and I will try to work something out as best as I can. However if it is possible you can try to refer the recruit to the forum or Hugh's chat when I am online here as I check the chat when I am on and it is easier and more efficient to do that.
I am aware that I have to do promotions for the xbox side but as I have seen I the past that the xbox members have proved their worth and if I can I say all xbox members are hereby rank 2 pending rank 3 with the exception of RenegadeCop who I have fought enough to prove that he is a rank 3. However if I keep hearing more good things from others under my side of the Messengers I can ask for the right to promote anyone to rank 3 without having to fight you all.
I hope you all have good fights and this place keeps on growing!

... Got some ears early and late Saturday in the Painted World. Unfortunately, it seems that activity is still slow on PS3 due to the flicker glitch. However, it seems not to bother Japanese players. Getting ears off Japanese players is quite tedious. The lag is usually terrible and most of them have the kind of build and setup that's very difficult to fight with lag. And many will not attempt any attack other than a back-stab. And that's the most understated, sterile and polite way I can describe it. So, yeah... I think that qualifies as a mini-rant.
PS -- I just remembered; I went to block someone like that earlier today and found out my block list is full! :affraid:

What I am desperate need of is someone who is good with photoshop and can cut & paste something onto another picture.

I am saying this to all Messengers here. A few pages back I posted a option the a alliance with the cult of Fluttershy now under the name of the Cult of Friendship. Swordiris has said no to an alliance then, however much has happened to the Cult to better fit in with the Covenant section and appeal to a wider group of people on the forums. Let me be clear I am a member of them but I will not bring up another alliance chance here unless favor sides with that and my judgment between the Messengers of Velka and the Cult of Friendship is the same as it has been since I joined here. What I am doing is to offer help to the Cult's leader, GrinTwist, by having you PSN members help Grin take on the DarkStalkers as Grin is the only member on the PSN side. I hate to see a friend, and leader of a covenant have to face battle alone so will you offer your aid to him?

Be cautious Messengers and wait for Grin Twist to clarify the above quote. Misunderstanding, at the very least may be afoot. Grin is just now getting a good cove/cult idea going. It seems odd to challenge the DarkStalkers at such a fragile time. I think perhaps the lore on page 1 of the Cult of Friendship may have generated some confusion since Grin has not posted any direct challenge to the DarkStalker Covenant that I can see.

Congrats and well done, sir. Ok, so the fencing seems to be well-received so far... however, the only direct feedback I've got on the rough draft for the OP so far has been from Renegade (thanks again). We were discussing poise and decided that Havel's would be OP; it can tank 3 rapier R1s, there are only 3 or 4 other helms that can tank as many as 2. So the current thinking is to either allow only 6-10 poise helms (rapier R1s break 5 poise and there are many helms in the 5-10 poise range), or set a maximum poise level and not restrict armor. I'm hoping to avoid the latter because I like the idea of having setups to mirror fencing outfits. Of course, we could still require a helm. But, I worry about having the rules get too intricate. So I favor a 6-10 poise helm rule at this point.
So... I'm pretty close, but I would like to get a good photo for the OP, we have to test our format to nail down the rules and of course set a date. As far as a date goes... I'm still thinking June 22nd (a Saturday). Keep in mind that the Guerrilla Warfare event for June is on the 15th (also, this month's is this Saturday the 18th).
So, let me know what you guys think and find me on the PS3 to test this out (and you Xbox guys test it out as well)! And if you're good at photo editing let me know. I want to get a real photo of 2 fencers with DkS characters' heads on them in the OP.
