The Soul of the Sanctuary Guardian

As far as I know, there is no use for the Soul of the Sanctuary Guardian (besides it's consumption for more souls). However, I would like to propose an idea. There has been recorded incidents of people dropping items in front of Artorias's grave and exiting the game and then joining back (similar to the procedure of trading with Snuggly)and receiving a different item. Perhaps the same can be done with this soul in particular? If my interpretation of the Oolacile Garden and the present Darkroot Garden is correct, the grave of Artorias is near, if not at the location we fought the Guardian, which could provide a link or so.

I cannot try this at the moment, so if you want/need to know what to do...

1. Kill Hydra
2. Free Dusk from the Golden Crystal Golem
3. Travel to the Duke's Archives
4. Kill Crystal Golem above the first elevator, acquire Broken Pendant
5. Head back to the location of the Golden Golem, go through the portal
6. Kill Sanctuary Guardian, acquire Soul
7. (Optional) Trigger the double Guardian spawn, kill them
8. Head to Artorias's Grave in present Darkroot Garden (kill Sif if you have not already)
9. Drop Soul in front of the grave
10. Reload

This is just a guess, but if there's anything thing we want/need to know about, it's the use of this Soul.

Welcome to the forums mate! Also, like hachouma said the grave of artorias is the Oolacile Sanctuary. I think the Guardians arena is destroyed, buried or just gone wild.
