I know I need divine weapons later on for some skeletons or something. Is the game going to be a royal pain in the *** now or is it still doable?

Alright this is my first playthrough of Dark Souls. Just beat Sen's Fortress, lv 57, 30 hours in, got a +10 Zewihander. Still have all my boss souls and my enchanted ember that Andre wouldn't take. Accidently smashed the **** out of Andre and he went hostile so I killed him. Didn't know I could just absolve my sins till after.

In Anor Londo you will find an Occult Club, revert it at any blacksmith and, voila, you will have your divine weapon.

Is doable. A reeeeeal pain in the ***, to the point you should consider deleting that character or at least do a rush to NG+ as fast as you can.
You wont be able to upgrade your weapons properly and the catacombs can be hard for your first playthrough if you dont have a divine weapon.
edit:
brilliant. Or you can ask for other divine wep in the trade subforum
Im sorry for you, buddy.
pd: how did you manage to kill him? I think he killed me more times than Gwyn lol

It's very doable. Nito might be a little annoying with all the skeletons popping back up during the fight, but Nito's attacks can hit the skeletons, usually 1-shotting them. If you have pyromancies, use the ones with nice AoE.
Or use a different divine weapon, one that you do not need to craft yourself. The Astora Straightsword is an easy 1 to get, it's in the Valley of Drakes, guarded by the undead dragon. You can also downgrade the occult club to +5 divine.
The only problem is that you won't be able to make +15 weapons, which kinda sucks.

If the skeletons are your main concern, familiarize yourself with the shortcuts in the Catacombs to avoid them. And like the others have suggested, get the Occult Club, Astora's straight sword or Silver Knight Spear to get rid of the skeles in Nito's boss room.

Thanks for the tips guys, I guess I'll try and finish it. I'm guessing it's impossible to get anything past +5 now so what would be my best choice for future weapons? Or should I just stick with my +10 Zweihander?
It was pretty easy actually... Just did a few hard swings and he went down

There's plenty of special weapons that upgrade with Twinkling titanite and Boss weapons you can make with +10 weapons - you should be fine.

The Halberds are pretty much the best PvE weapons so the BK Halberd comes to mind. It only need Twinkling Tits to upgrade and it does massive damage.
LOL, tits.

You can use twinkling titanite weapons, like black and silver knight weapons for example, some of them are divine too

Black Knight Greatsword. All you'll ever need on your first playthrough. Hell, I did my first playthrough with a +4 Gravelord Sword.

Gravelord Sword is a beautiful thing. Such a good moveset.
As for the divine, pff. You can do the catacombs without one. Some Necromancers are a bit awkward to get to - you're looking at suicide runs - but otherwise you'll be fine. Remember, you can kick Skellies off the edge if you have to. And Nito's habit of exploding can be exploited to keep his Skellies down.
Also, in the Valley of the Drakes you can find Astora's Straight Sword, a special Divine weapon. Heck, I get it for my starter cleric if I have the Master Key. That's a very useful divine weapon.

I always get the Master Key on every character I make, but it feels mandatory on my clerics. I hate the mace moveset, and the damage from Astora's Straight Sword is amazing that early on.
And yeah, that's actually what I did on my SL1 run. Kick skeletons off the cliff until I get to the necromancer. Nito was so easy, just throw a couple of great fireballs. Those are likely to kill all skeletons as well (even if only temporarily).

you could also go to the giant blacksmith and make it a lightning zweihander and just megapump levels into endurance and vitality

There are still weapon options with Twinkling titanite.

I've honestly NEVER fought my way through the Catacombs, I have ALWAYS ran through it to each bonfire. If you can, try joining a Covenant where you can invade, or put your summon sign down at the first bonfire. From there, you can familiarize yourself with the area and just run through it.

The problem is you need Andre to get it to +10. He can get one of the boss spears by decending the lightning spear in Sen's to +10, but that's it unless he has other +10s or doesn't mind loosing his Zweihander.
Also, I would keep the zweihander.

There's the occult club and the lightning spear. I am also wondering if a perfect condition crystal halberd can also be reverted, but I need to test that.
Mind, Ornstein's Spear is pretty good, so he might be OK focusing on that.

It can't. It's probably to keep people from being able to save them.
