id like to see a light armor set that each piece provides no defence but does something special. Like maybe the head could increase stam regen, the armor increase equip load, the gloves increase Crit damage, and the legs/boots increase run speed. but as i said 0 Def on all of them and they could weight like 10-20 units as a set. in my head the helm is 3 the armor 6 the gloves/boots 4.

So all of the parts of the armor function kind of like the family masks? That could be pretty cool. I'd be down if I saw that in DS2.

An Upgrade path that kept the weight of the item but nulled the defence and gave it a bonus like regen would be nice, an armor set would also be nice, but it would be very over used and it would probably look silly.

yea but the thing is it would weight a decent amount and have no defence so you have to choose between the boosts or any defence it would basically be like running around naked

Following along kind of the same lines as that thought, I would rather just see a complete set bonus for armour. Soo if you're wearing all stone guardian armour set, head, chest, legs, gloves.. You would get MINOR buff that others don't. Unless of course they wear the same complete set. And have that go for all armour sets with each set getting a different minor buff.

I could go for an armour set like that if it was a boss soul upgrade. Imagine if instead of getting a mask from pinwheel, you could use his soul and a complete set of +5 light armour to make a special armour set that gave bonuses like those the OP mentioned.
Just in general I like the idea of using boss souls for armour upgrades. Unfortunately, it looks like the variability of boss souls is on a downward trend. DkS saw the loss of using souls to mmake miracles and sorceries, though it did see the ability to make shields which was not present in DS. In summary: more and more varied uses for boss souls.

I could get behind this idea if the necklaces had very different purposes from the rings. I'm not entirely sure what the difference would be, but I think it should be distinctly different from the function of the rings.Thedeadships wrote:Maybe a necklace slot to, kinda would act like a 3rd ring I guess..
