Re: i feel like a monster!
I have a weakness when it comes to killing Priscilla and the Spider Firekeeper (I can't remember her name).
Just remember that everything in the game technically is a monster on one moral scale or another. The game is full of grey areas when it comes to right and wrong, and you the player do a lot of heinous things to people that have good intentions for others that they care for.
You, yourself are nothing more than a heartless hollow trudging through the dark land of Lordran and the only thing that separates you from the rest of these beasts is the fact that you're the Chosen Undead, that's it. Anything else and you're just as bad as the rest of them.

Please explain to me why those two things warrant an implied facepalm Dibs. I want to know, because that's what I've thought throughout the whole ordeal in Lordran.

It's a derail Grin, though you do have a good point with what you said. Lordran is quite heartless isn't it?

I said on one moral scale or another all of them are monsters in one way or another. I didn't say that I didn't sympathize with Quelagg when I found out she was just helping her sister or when I killed Sif when he was just fulfilling what he thought was his last duty to Artorias. At the same time both of them are still killing hollows that have just as good of intentions when it comes to saving Lordran.
^I should have seen it coming with Dibs. It depends on what you think your character is thinking throughout their ordeals to be honest.

Re: i feel like a monster!
Basically, it's the conflicting morals that every character has that makes every thing much more tragic throughout the game.
I mean you have to think when your killing Priscilla what your character is really thinking throughout the fight.

From what I've seen from your streams Rynn, I'm sure that is exactly what your characters are thinking, and getting enough lunch money for lunch in Anor Londo.

Re: i feel like a monster!
From the third person view since Priscilla never makes the first move or any aggressive remark to the player, we attacking her can be seen as murdering a innocent being. To Priscilla , her view is to keep the painted as is, a lonely cold world she calls home. We are the intruder so to speak so we are committing an injustice. However she refuses to attack and begs us to leave. A sign of mercy or redemption. What can cause us to kill her depends on the person in real life. However it can be said that we wanted her power, soul, weapon, and dragon tail as a simple way to stay alive. Survival of the fittest. So really in two of three cases the player is being the unjust one.

Re: i feel like a monster!
True it depends on the person who is actually playing the game but the argument of the differing morality between the NPC's still offers that sense that most of the people that we interact with act on good intentions but fail because they aren't powerful enough to kill us.
Morality versus strength, is ultimately a pointless battle if the morals are given to the weak in this game.

Dagger is just poise tanked for a Hornet Stab, Lifehunt Scythe will turn on its user 90% of the time.

Re: i feel like a monster!
But we don't know at first Dibs. To us it was just another way to stay ahead of the eternal death-reborn cycle of Lordran. By appearance Priscilla has the lifehunt, something even the gods feared. That is enough to get any warrior to kill her. Though to either end the demoness of the gods or harness her power to overthrow the gods. In the end it all falls to the want of power.

Power is not the key to victory, but rather tactics.Soris Ice Goldwing wrote:But we don't know at first Dibs. To us it was just another way to stay ahead of the eternal death-reborn cycle of Lordran. Just because your weapon is powerful does not mean your character is powerful.
Besides, Priscilla is so fluffy, who would want to kill her?

Re: i feel like a monster!
o.O Misread the title, thought it said "I feel like a molester!"
But staying on topic, i do feel bad when i have to kill bosses/enemies that are merely defending something or don't want conflict.

Interestingly enough, killing Pricilla gives you a sin. Darkmoon blades can invade you for doing it.
